Maybe we should skip a raid tier

If they really want to focus upon QOL changes, they can just bring on some extra programmers with this being their sole goal. And why stop with just a raid tier? Lets take the last 5 months of the expansion and have no new season at all! Then they don’t need to focus any attention on mythic+ instances, PvP or raids. No need to build out an entire new tier of gear, content or story line. Think of all the stuff they could fix!

I’m all for this, 100%.

Have the content of the season be mythic plus dungeons, delves and pvp.

Sure but the question is “was it good”?

Raids and new dungeons are the only thing that makes this game worth playing.

I agree with this, and even what Akston said but we need a cleanup patch bad.

Im fine with a raid tier sacrifice to fix bugs and clean things up.

We already only get 3 raid tier per expansion with smaller 8 bosses raid tier.
Also nothing stops them from simply cutting more, who says they have to do more if they cut ressources somewhere?

They’re working on the next 2 expansions simultaneously, remember?

Not that it will amount to anything, the story seems bland already. More sword, less Xal’atath, I’m not really hyped for her lore and harbinger crap, don’t really care, she kinda came out of no where.

I still laugh that Paladins have a total of 7 obtainable class mounts on a single character

SEVEN. The two racial themed mounts, the Argent Charger and the four Legionfall campaign mounts.

The next highest one I think is warlock with 5. Rogue at four. Hunter and Death Knight at three. Demon Hunters at 2 and the rest at one.

If you want to cheese the next “collect X amount of mounts” achievement, make a Paladin on your most played faction and give it tailoring and engineering or leatherworking. Therefore they have 7 class mounts (2 more than the next highest one), the four tailoring only mounts and the two engineering or leatherworking only mounts.

They did that once, and put a cheeky reminder near the Alliance garrisons.

But that would involve skipping an M+ season, and a PvP season, so we can’t have that.

Raiders are the only players not constantly complaining about the game every 6 seconds like M+ players and, now, Delvers. I don’t think Blizz would want to tick off the raiders by not giving them content.

Youre a priest

Yeah, with all the work they put into a pvp season. What would happen? We wouldnt get a Battleground map?

Legion had some things it did well. The artifact power grinds were not one of them. Nor was legendary drop RNG making or breaking the start of the expansion for you.

It also had a lot of Illidan, and I know some people like him, but I’m extremely glad that he’s gone.

Well, we know they work at least 2 expansions ahead and have since WoD so… pretty much getting the next expansion ready to go.

Which makes it worse honestly, especially since they are aware of most of an expansion’s bugs and problems like how well or poorly a feature is received, but do nothing about it in a timely manner.

A good portion of us that play don’t even raid anymore.

We do it once on LFR to progress the story, and that’s it.

A big issue in WoW is that a lot of content that is niche is basically not touched by other players.

Earlier WoW had a lot more cross-pollination and I’m not even sure what Retail could do to fix that, if they even acknowledge it as an issue at all.

Ok look im a tolerant guy, but this is too much.

There are edgelords, and there is illidan. Hea like the old god of edgelords.

Im one of those people and i dont have th time to raid anymore. Even if i did have the time, i probably wouldnt blow 6 hours a night, 4 times a week on raiding.

The world moved on. Id rather quest for 6 hours.

We skipped a raid tier in Dragonflight Season 4, and we still ended up with Dawnbreaker. Just sayin’.
