There was no problem. They did the change, saw people complained so they made nodes spawn faster.
Par for the course. I remember telling this guy he was trolling a few months back for making a suggestion that a thread OP had already said was done and the response was a vehement denial. He wasn’t trolling at all, he just couldn’t be bothered to read like 5 posts into a thread.
Which turned out to be a way to get people to leave the Maw faster. As soon as I realized what they had done early Tuesday, I dropped the quest and left. The only thing available now is the grind to add sockets to gear, which has been deliberately designed to take freaking months even if you do all the meaningless Maw content.
Don’t feed the troll, they are in every thread twisting words to start an argument, they have done it to me and several others.
Sad when someone doesn’t know what’s going on and giving advise then twisting words to fit their narrative, just ignore them, not worth your time.
Funny how So many threads you comment in always end that way?
weirdly enough, i don’t need to post in a thread for drama to happen.
…there was already drama happening here before i came along.
Not really. Instead of taking forever it now takes only 4 to 5 times as long.
If it isn’t obvious the move is to pump time played metrics. They must have looked at their quest metrics and spotted these two outliers as taking too little time to complete.
Their ideal quest must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Involve collecting an obscenely large number of items: Night fae campaign quest (50 gorm guts), Ardenweald WQ for spriggan weapons or bug shooting (there are probably 3 things wrong with the bug shooting WQ, all seem to err on the side of wasting the player’s time)
- Advancing progress bars which get incremented by 1-2% per enemy/objective: Most bonus objectives, some WQ’s like the ones in Bastion
- Trivial mobs with hugely inflated health which take forever for single players to whittle down: Ardenweald WQ “Tough Crowd”, Maldraxxus WQ Deathfang
- Quest objectives which are low in number and long in respawn: Bastion WQ’s with the story of the archon and void
- Have things thrown in which make no sense and only serve to waste time: Bastion WQ where you collect 5 scrolls from the library, Kyrian campaign quest to rally the forces where the player is forced to take the longest travel route possible rather than the shortest and most logical
It’s fine again now! Was able to finish very quickly, as compared to earlier in the week when I just gave up.
So when are you going to work on the hotfix for the heartstop aura/delerium interaction with warlock cds? It’s a pretty glaring bug and hasn’t even been acknowledged yet and it’s absurd that it has gone on for this long. Also, don’t even get me started on the MC bug and how that just seemingly doesn’t even matter to any blizzard employee on the WoW team.
