So I did all this back in vanilla, however when doing it this time around I sorta missed the weaponsmith part in IF. I did the Corruption quest and completed before doing the Weaponsmith quest where you make the bundle of weapons. I since have completed that but swordsmith is still red when looking at vendor plans. Do I have to max my bs at this point? Currently at 340.
I want to say it is at 350. I know that all the tailoring specialties require 350.

I became a hammersmith b4 350. Think the weaponsmith stuff is like sub 300 as you can be around lvl 40 to choose. If you use questie, and 60 already you likely need to turn on the option to see the lowbie BS quest to be able to choose. Once you do the weaponsmith quest, you just have to talk to a guy and choose your specialization, no further quest.
You have to be 350 for the 1st epic lvl 70 weapon, then 375 for the upgrade to that 1st epic weapon to its 2nd tier.
