“I didn’t personally experience this bug, so it doesn’t exist”. Classic.
Going to chime and in and say the same except I did it on an alt I would logoff after I was done every week. I would login Tuesday and only have to do 1 dungeon (the buff was still there from last week) to get credit.
I still did 5 every week cause the cache.
This sucks Tallandriel, and I seriously, sincerely hope it gets fixed.
Keep putting in tickets. Seriously. The first GM didn’t help, so put in another ticket.
Edited to add: Also…post about this in bug report forum AND in the Customer Service forum. And don’t stop until you get it fixed, especially since you’re clearly not the only one. Squeaky wheels and all.
i made a video, with 3 buffs, and killing the last boss of dungeon to obtain the the final buff of the week and showing i was still stucked 2/5 progress, sended the video via ticket: gm was like an AI bot, he literally said: ‘‘you can find help in the wowhead community’’
Spamming the forums and spamming GM tickets for things GM’s don’t do isn’t going to help anyone. If it’s a bug, it goes in bug reports. GM’s are not involved with bugs.
Because GMs don’t give game hints. Asking about quest progress issues is a game hint.
GMs also don’t fix bugs, if that’s what’s happening here.
They also do not take video or images as proof to do something, as those can be easily changed.
I didn’t say anything about spamming the forums.
It is a customer service issue, so a post on that forum is warranted.
It is a potential bug, so commenting on the post OP mentioned there is warranted.
OP put in a ticket. The GM did not resolve the issue. Putting in another ticket is not spamming.
Not really. There’s nothing they can do either. They’ll say to post in Bug Reports. They cannot fix it nor give game hints.
If you get the buff once on a character (run 4 dungeons) you can log him out until the next week and only do one dungeon to extend the buff each week after that, each time you extend you get one week complete. So you only have to do one dungeon a week as long as you dont play that character long enough for the buff to expire in a week (3 hours).
No, it’s not a customer service issue. This is what customer service does.
I mean…?
How is this not an in-game issue? I’m not trying to be argumentative.
Seeing a lot of misinformation here.
If you carry over the buff week from week it doesn’t count anymore. First time it did now you have to proc the 4 stack buff each week. Existing buffs don’t count.
Its also 4 dungeons not 5.
Did you read the linked thread? I mean, you can inquire, that’s one of the purposes of that forum, to act as an information desk to tell you what to do. But it’s not something support can help with. It’s either working as intended and the OP isn’t doing something wrong (which would be a game hint), or it’s not working as intended and would be a bug. Neither of which GM’s handle.
Oh, no. Seriously, I thought you were just slapping that there as a forum description in frustration with me. I didn’t realize it was a thread link. I legit thought you were just giving me the forum description, which confused me because I didn’t see how that was useful.
Sorry. People get very gristly on here, so I assumed. Bad Meri.
So you definitely messed up somewhere and nobody here is going to be able to help you.
If you only have 2/5 as of this week (assuming you got it this week), you may as well just give up because it’ll be impossible to get it. What you should’ve done was check the achievement each week to make sure it went up by 1 and keep running dungeons until you saw that it did. Even if it is a legitimate bug, you are still SOL because GMs don’t have the power to just grant achievements and stuff.
Look up the Khaz Algar flight master achievement (visiting all the FPs in the expansion). Some people still to this day can’t get it even though they have the FPs and can fly/to/through them. I’m one of them. Nothing you can do about it though and odds are the mount will be back in some fashion (be it a tendie purchase or something).
I got the achievement on Tuesday after my 4th dungeon. I thought it was 5 dungeons each week, but I might have just assumed it was 5 dungeons each week for the achievement.
5 consecutive weeks of either a) running 4 Timewalking dungeons on a character to achieve the Mastery of Timeways buff or b) gaining Mastery of Timeways on 1 character in the first week, and maintaining the buff for the following 4 weeks.
If you are trying to get the achievement now, it is unfortunately too late.
However, they will definitely add the Buzzbee to a Timewalking vendor later in the future, as they did with the first mount.
Precisely, except the buff only requires 4 dungeons to be cleared.
It depends, you have to look at your buff which increases after each dungeon, and you only get credit toward the achievement if you reach a certain level of the buff. IIRC it does take 5 but you have to keep the buff the entire time to do it in 5.
i just did 5 in the initial week. wowhead said just do 1 every week after and maintain the full buff and i got it today with 1 dungeon as they said
I was just focused on doing the weekly for the heroic raid piece anyways so I was gtg regardless.
