That is a bug currently, happens randomly. Back in vanilla not everything dropped an item and everything sparkled even if it didn’t have an item. It’s there for skinning but the system still effects humanoid, elementals, ect. Just how it was back then.
Not true. I leveled up my leatherworking by skinning the worgans in silverpine and never -once- had one not be skinable. It is not a overall bug that affects the skinning system because it only happens with beasts.
I’m genuinely curious. It’s something I’ve noticed a lot with your generation and have wondered about ever since your generation started showing up in the game. The OP exhibits no anger. He’s expressing his opinion and asking for feedback. How is it that your generation so easily manages to gaslight in any given situation, unprovoked?
Do you speak to each other like this in your classrooms? Do you teach each other this?
I honestly can’t imagine being a part of your generation because you seem so angry, empathetic-less and eager to get under peoples’ skin with no care in the world about how others view your piss poor attitudes.

When you are able to do that, I’ll engage with you.
It a reflection of growing up with the internet. When you can say anything you want without seeing the actual impact it has on someone it makes hurting people easier. When you can say whatever you want and face no real repercussion for that, it keep you from learning caution.
I do not let it bother me, people can say as they wish, so do not let it bother you on my behalf.

You know how every generation has its quirks? Well this by far is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen from any generation, honestly. They don’t know to to relate with people.
You seem to be the one with the issue man. Get some self confidence and stop being so sensitive and you will be okay.
I do believe I’ve already told you, if you can’t address me without the defensive banter and gaslighting then don’t address me at all. In the future do remember that people will be less inclined to cut you off at your punch when you put fourth a little effort at relating with people.

I’m not aware that getting no drops from a kill is even a problem, did vanilla guarantee 100% something would drop? … but I’ve certainly had that error message quite a few times, but only once per kill and after a second or two I was able to get the loot.
This was happening to my wife and I, only when trying to loot “beasts” like spiders, panthers, raptors and such… it seamed to be an auto loot problem. When we turned off auto loot it seamed to work correctly. Mabye make a bug report about it.
Getting no loot off mobs in classic is fine and a vanilla like experience. Its when there is loot there but the mob glitches and you Connot loot said items and therefore cannot skin the mob.

i get this all the time on my skinner. i just wait a sec and try skinning again and it almost always works.
I saw this with the Yeti that dropped Helcular’s Rod.
After my buddy and I killed some 60-70 yetis and skinned each one, the one that actually dropped the rod was unskinnable.
