I’m honestly happy for SV Hunters. I mess with it a bit, but I’m not a fan of melee play. However, BM has been at or near the bottom for all of Shadowlands - right next to SV before 9.2. We had our time in the spotlight during 8.3, but let’s not forget that BM was in the bottom half of rankings from 8.0 through 8.2 and only lazily designed Azerite armor boosted them to the top 5 for all of one patch - about 10 months between 8.3 and 9.0 releases.

Since when? In Shadowlands BM has fluctuated between absolute worst spec and slightly above average for M+ and each raid. There was a time at the end of BfA when when certain BM azerite traits were very good and gave BM great AOE, but even during the early part and middle of BfA MM was better to BM and there were at least some points were survival as equal to bm or clearly better.

BM took the tip tier spec of hunter in 7.3 from MM and kept it all of bfa. While it wasn’t good in 8.0, 8.1 without stacking specific aze traits it was still above MM amd surv.

you know something and most of us are fine with that. i currently play bm and im pulling between 9k and 11k fight depending. so in reality i am destroying most people no matter what s tier class they are playing. bm might be a the bottom of the charts especially for m+ where i play mm. but there is nothing wrong with bm. blizzard can buffed survival to 50k dps its still not going to get people to play that joke of a melee spec.

if your 268 ilvl and not doing 10-12k then sorry i cannot help you. i dont think there is any help for you.

U 100% dont pull that overall, in a +15 mythic plus dungeon, that is where the issue is not so much raid ST dmg, which is slightly below everyone else. It is in m+ where the class is absolute trash.

yes bm is garbage in keys comapared to 18k to 30k overall MM and other top classes and specs.
bm as NF with a 250-260 ilvl can do 10-15k easy overall. if you are assuming your are enchanted and geared right. and using your cds at the right times.

That’s bs. Maybe with a 4pc tier set bonus would a bm hunter with that ilvl range break 10k overall on a mythic+ dungeon.
Bm is dead last overall for season 3. You can play with the parameters to make bm creep off the absolute floor in some cases but you’re delusional of you seriously believe it’s ok.

i dont need to prove nothing to you. a simple warcraft logs of every bm hunter in the ilvl range i stated will prove my point. if you cannot do your sim dps then thats on you. not me. not blizzard. not your spec. not the forums. you.
i just raidbots your toon and it sim you at 11,377. thats just base single target damage. no wildspirits no buffs no aoe or cleave nothing. whats so hard to understand that someone in the 250+ ilvl range can pull 10-12k dps.

Dude they said 9-11k,
that’s completely doable. People were doing that in season 2 without double lego and tier. And they are doing it now, in fact they are surpassing that.

I don’t think they are going off logs, from their statements they seem to be going off details which is always inflated compared to logs. But 9-11k is very doable from details and people are doing it and more even based on logs. The 15k top end is more unrealistic outside of details.
I’m sure there are some doing it, but not many. That isn’t to say BM isn’t in a bad spot, BM is terrible for M+ For sure.
