I was just wondering if there was any update to when this might be available and how much it would be? I remember reading that there would be a scale to the cost, depending on how many characters you were transferring.
Will that have a cap? Like, if I felt inclined to xfer 20 toons, would that still be an unreasonable, ludicrous amount of money?
Will there be any limitations? Say, a cap to how many characters you can xfer?
I made some friends and we made a new guild not too long ago. It obviously wouldn’t make sense for them to xfer to me, but I had to leave behind all of my characters… basically a whole decade of work. I can play them, and that’s fine… but I’d really like to be able to benefit from my professions and have all of my characters with my new guild. It seems to me that the cross faction instances would be a perfect time to implement the mass xfer, too. I don’t really look forward to the prospect of dumping a bunch of money on xfers, but it would personally make me happy to get all of my alliance and horde toons together in one place with my new friends in time to play them all together.
I don’t know if the price questions could even be answered, that’s fine. You wouldn’t want to lock yourselves into a price, and I can understand that. I would be pretty grateful if we could get an update on a time-table, though, if you have one that you could share.
