Does any other spec in the game continuously receive as many compensation buffs when it’s blatantly overtuned as this one does?
Feels like this has been happening since Dragonflight every single season, they’ll buff Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire when the spec is already deleting people or nerf one ability while buffing the other.
Why is it just MM?
Idk. But when I see the visual rain of arrows land over me, I feel like the Spartans fighting Xerxe’s Persian Archers except I don’t block them triumphantly. I just fall over dead, as I watch the NE Persian hunters backpedal another 60 yards away for another volley while wearing TBC Gladiator Armor and Black Temple bow mogs.
Blizzard left this expac and season like a messy toilet. Straight to working on midnight and just kept dropping logs and pee’ing in this one. Filled it up with soggy toilet paper. A sloppy mess. It’s piling up more and more each day. Festering sloppy stink pile.
Funniest thing to me is how OP Hunter is but Arcane and Fire mage are still actually better.
Because the average MM Hunter in a Shuffle is several hundred points above where they should be.
I’m not talking about shuffle. I’m talking about 3s. Better cc, better mobility, impossible to kill. Mages are completely busted and the only reason they aren’t the primary target for “nerf this” threads is because Hunter is overtuned and easier to play and happens to give bad mages a hard time.
Listen, I am a notorious Arcane mage hater, ask anybody that talks to me outside the forums; I absolutely hate them after all the bs they’ve put my dumb zugger class through but I am here to tell you this:
No, MM is lame & is the most busted DPS in the game; randomly dying to explosive shot & rapid fire outside of a go, cds or even cc is very tilting.

Despite mm being mages biggest counter and completely broken rn, mage teams are still finding tons of success speaks volumes to how ridiculous mages are

This is a lie. I caught Kydrav in bed with Khadgar once. When I heard them screaming “Arcane Explosion!” over and over, I thought they were practicing their DPS rotation. I don’t want to think about what he meant by “I’m procing missiles”.

I would also say Fire is way better than Arcane atm.

I mean whether you’re right or not, the fact remains.. if hunter were moved aside, mages would run rampant and unkillable without really any good counters at all.

I agree though, mage is good just not as good as MM.
Good MM Hunters would still delete Mages if they nerfed its damage by 15%, it would just stop deleting EVERY single spec in the game even if the person is brand new to playing it.
Surprised that people are defending MM at all just because they personally hate Mages.
I’m not defending mm. It needs nerfs, period.
I’m just saying so does mage, and nerfing the only natural mage predator on the ladder would leave us with an entirely mage dominated meta.
Kydrav plays with a dk, which is one of the few classes than can aids a mage into dying so it’s no shock to me that he’s currently more annoyed with mm than mage.
