Aimed, RF, and arcane have been hitting for dragonflight levels of damage since the reset that fixed the phantom pain bug. Not sure if all its pvp modifiers/aura buffs got wiped in pvp or what. But it’s actually laughably bad now.
Ghostcrawler back? Nerfing things to the ground?
Honestly though, bugs aren’t cool, but it is a nice break for us clothies to not get pelted through our silky fine garments by hunters.
I don’t feel like it’s unreasonable to at least expect notification about what’s getting tuned and by how much.
You expect too much. Don’t complain about it though, or you’ll get banned.
Oh that makes a lot of sense. I played against a few MM in shuffle yesterday and I thought they were just bad at their rotation or something. Literally doing half the dps of everyone else in all those matches.
Is it really stealth if you notice it
If you’re specced into dark ranger you lost 20% damage on arimed and rapid fire from the hero talent which boosted it’s damage no longer existing. What’s also odd is that black arrow hits for less than killshot.
I noticed this too, my mm’s damage dropped a lot after patch 11.0.5, like a lot. Meanwhile, elementals, ferals, afflocks dominating everything!
This is not in reference to the 20% aimed/rf damage lost in the patch. This is a difference in values from the ~12 hours before the phantom pain fix and then immediately after. Aimed/rf were correctly only doing 20% less than last week until they fixed phantom pain. Now they are doing considerably less than those values. Tooltip says 1 million, output is like 375k on dummy/characters without defensives. It’s doing approximately what the non PvP tooltip says for arcane, aimed, and rapid fire, which to me signals that maybe the PvP modifiers got wiped by accident when they rolled out the phantom pain fix.
The feral was for sure bad lol the mm that’s up for debate
They all going 0-6
I wonder if somehow they Aura nerfed Hunter in general during the Phantom Pain fix but since BM was already doing insane pumping damage it evened it down into the above average category whereas MM wasn’t even in that Category to begin with.
There was also the situation with mastery double dipping on black arrow. Both changes went in pretty quick and I could see something getting missed. My best guess is that the PvP modifiers got wiped because the tooltips and damage values most closely adds up that way. Impossible to really tell though.
Yea that’s very strange, I did see the mastery double dip. I haven’t tried MM since those changes but on PTR with full Mastery gear I was hitting like 2.4-2.9 mil Crits on Black Arrow. They probably are significantly lower now I’d assume.
Honestly best tuning news so far.
The sooner we’re actually stable, the better. Obviously if it was intended, it should have been included in a patch note by now.
Hello,
Indeed, there have been stealth nerfs. Here are the current values:
- Rapid fire lost the PVP modifier completely (biggest stealth nerf in recent times)
- Aimed shot has a 55% increased in PVP modifier
- Arcane shot has a 35% increased in PVP modifier
That’s nice, now do the same to feral, ele, sp, assa, sub, and maybe some others i forgot
Hey, did they fixed it or still this way ?
There haven’t been new hotfixes afaik
