9/15/2022 is the day everyone, simultaneously completed prepatch resulting in no more queues across all of classic. Anyone suspicious yet of their plans to “balance servers” mentioned a few months ago?

then they lied through their teeth to us when they stated, a week ago, that increasing capacity was not possible.

Skyfury has no pop yet there are 7k ally and 5k horde on rn. It’s going to see a pop at Primetime.

so you enjoyed sitting in 4 hours queues or being forced to babysit your toon all day just to raid with your friends in the evening? A server doesn’t go from a 10k queue one day to 0 the next. No way that many transferred, especially when eranikus transfers were broken during that time.

The queues have been going down since the day they locked the mega-servers though. There was a verifiable, visible progression in queue times from the peak of 14-19k people, all the way down to queues of about 1-2k people a day ago.
There will probably be a 2-3k queue in a few more hours today and tomorrow even.
But yes, there’s also not much left to do in the game at this point. Getting Full Brutal and 100%ing the Scourge Invasions takes very little time tbh.
Only reason I’m still playing is to gold farm in prep for wotlk.
That said, come wotlk launch days, I expect the queues to bounce back to 10k for a week until enough people take free transfers off of the mega-servers.

Benediction still had a massive queue on thursday and nothing friday or saturday, previously the two worst days for them. Something is fishy here, no way that many people just finished at exactly the same time. Even the AH is running smooth as butter.

Yeah, what gives?? Everything went from like a 3 hour queue to like no queue seemingly overnight, hmmmm 
People are saying “well, maybe people got their prepatch stuff done and stopped logging in”… but everyone did that simultaneously, at the same exact time to suddenly go from 3+ hour queues to no queue? 
Something is definitely off…
The general public is much more random/uncoordinated than that. It’s highly unlikely everyone was like “ok that’s it, got my brutal gear, did my prepatch stuff, let’s all stop logging in on X date”
Really seems like something changed on Blizzard’s end behind the scenes, or they quietly “increased” server capacity without telling us
Again, random strangers/uncoordinated people don’t just suddenly “agree to stop logging in” on the same exact day for no reason (suspicious), masses of random people just don’t work like that lol

Random forumers random assumption vs full triple a dev team doing things 24 7 behind the scenes xd
You mean loads of people would transfer to a newly made fresh server to predate on it’s untouched late game markets? That just doesn’t add up, it must be something fishy and undefined…

lmao right. Like I ain’t on either server and just from looking at the forums I can see the correlation between the “ANGERFORGE IS DOOMED” threads and the “SKYFURY IS DOOMED” threads.
free xfers and Angerforge itself have only been open for 3 days, there is no reliable server pop data for either of the servers yet, not even from third parties.

You have Angerforge people complaining that the free transfers have ruined their fresh experience. You have Skyfury people complaining that the free transfers have ruined their faction balance.
And then you have people in this thread wondering where their queues went.
