Probably because it won’t roll over to the next year???
Reasonable. Feels like they would have started more testing in the ptr by now if there aren’t a few bumps that may lead to a delay.
Because I have it to waste? I already have another week scheduled off at the end of the year. I get like two months of PTO every year, it gets wasted for fun because there’s nothing to use it for anyway. I still have PTO to burn even after scheduling a week off for launch.
Still very skeptical of this expansion. Trying to pump out an entire game in this amount of time.
Not buying for a while. I’ll stay with wrath for a while
It’s either that (which gives 4 full fated raid rotations and one full season of m+ affixes), or they push it down to something less. They already told us the prepatch event (uldaman and evoker creation) will last 2 weeks. Which will obviously be the last 2 of prepatch.
Just like what they did with DHs in the 4th week, out of 6 weeks of legion prepatch. And like 9.0.2 patch (SL prepatch phase 2) which launcher 2 weeks before SL, giving the icecrown stuff.
No thanks…
Agreed, simplicity is sometimes the best.
Having your class/spec tied to borrowed power only to perform terrible was something I did not find fun at all.
The thing is you didn’t even need the leak date to guess their schedule. I made posts in June and July talking about this. They said by this year but not giving an exact date. That obviously means an at the latest delivery but still not being in the literal holidays.
Yeah, the game can still be plenty difficult/complex, but just having it be easy to hop into without reading through 5 different wowhead articles on how to get caught up is…preferable, I think.
Most people kind of lost interest with SL before they even started, I think.
No matter how this expansion turns out, it’ll be interesting to play through my first expansion without a borrowed power system. Probably will keep me invested past 10.1 unlike the last two first patches.
So much for trying for veilstrider oh well
Not everyone is playing Wrath. I can’t be bothered to play the same content I progressed through 12-14 years ago. So for the rest of us, yes, please release DF asap. Thank you Blizzard. Looking forward to putting Shadowlands in the rear view.
Still waiting on pvp modifiers being in tooltips before doing pvp.
Stuff was so boggling in bfa for why my vision of perfection wasn’t giving the full 25% off the cd, when I was was neck 95+ (clearly above 84 which was needed in pve). And nothing I read said why.
Bag of cats on what does what and why.
I mean I think what they should do is allow dragonflight to come out but first raiding season starts in January 24th so people can enjoy both games in and outside holidays.
Then it would be like a prepatch but inside the new expac where you can quest at your own pace and it’s not a bunch of world first cringe lord fiascos like this expac.
Tweet from Max six days ago. “No tier sets, many abilities don’t work. Super close to wrath release which a lot of players looked forward to. Not really upset with blizzard because they have to work on DF and get this stuff tested but man does that feel bad.”
Even he mentions wrath. Its their biggest expansion launch in a long time. So many people are completely out on Retail, its been 2 straight expansions of garbage. People are more likely to stick with what they know is good… tried and true. Naxx will absolutely have more logs than 10.0 raid will… guarenteed.
Yeah, talent trees alone are more than enough imo.
I skipped out on SL because your class being dependent on a faction sounded like a bad idea. Came back before season 4 started, had to look up which cov was the best, what was the best legendary, how to get Unity… etc.
I’m not gonna miss this at all.
You can get it done. You got 9 weeks. I finished my necrolord stuff in 5. Honestly the worst parts were twisting corridors (yes it does scale and isn’t locked to 9.0.5 values) and the loyalty trials for path of ascension.
Way to ruin the excitement Blizz by forcing group loot on everyone in raids…
Dragonflight will beat FF14 and show who is still the ALPHA in the MMO market.
I can’t wait to play Dragonflight due to the fact I like dragons.
