So… pre-patch when?
Assume the 25th as the worst case, at the soonest by date.
My only hope with this and I hope we can all agree. Please for the love of God tell me they have paid attention to player feedback. BFA and Shadowlands felt like a constant duel between players and the WoW team and I hope they have backed off from that.

Dude, at this point you’re completely missing why I called you out in the first place. Yeah, Dragonflight HAS to be a homerun, there’s no arguing that. But they’re also losing players by keeping Shadowlands out for too long. They’re on a very thin line of when to release or when not to release, and since they’ve already promised end of year (and I doubt they want to go back and refund everyone that has pre-purchased already) they have to stick to it.
December is a terrible time for any company to try and get work done because a lot of people take holiday around that time. Blizzard would be no different, and launching it the week of Christmas would be a spectacularly bad idea. They set the release in 2022 and they have to stick to it at this point.
Was it smart? No.
Was it a good idea to push it out before 2023? No.
Can they go back on this now? No, absolutely not.
I’m not blinded in believing the launch of Dragonflight will go off without a hitch, nor am I deluded into thinking it’s ready from what we’ve seen on beta. But Shadowlands is doing just as much damage as a poor launch would, but at the very least there would be new content.
Snap to grid was added in the latest Beta patch

launching while there are so many issues to resolve is crazy. I am excited for dragon land but why not fix some things and get it almost right before announcing its ready? I realize that issues will come up but it’s so buggy now, and some things really need to be improved. For Example, Yesterday my Vigor was generating fairly quickly, today it’s at a crawl, and laggy to the point not even on my mount but under it no resource bar .

I hope youre ok with first 2 days as semi unplayable. It is a real possibility

Copium hopefully they have achievement/toast notifications moveable with the editor. Center bottom is so horrible.
We haven’t had that since WoD (which was mostly horde side), so I’m not terribly worried.
Sl wasnt super smooth. But i hope youre right
Bfa had some heavy impact for major servers. But that came on the heals during prepatch of having to revert the communities rollout because of uber old characters in ancient guilds bricking the rollout.
Legion launch was gucci though. Stuff just clicked.
Oh my gosh, I’m super excited to try out the Evoker class!!!
