Because we’ve seen the last two expansions those financial decisions have almost killed their game. They are lucky their marketing department is so good it has the ability to resurrect its playerbase… because any other game out there with the history of WOD, BFA, and SL wouldnt be able to survive it.
Well first I think it’s drastic oversimplification to say the sole reason was the company chasing financial goals. Imo the design was crap with SL especially for instance.
I mean come one players complain about too many systems and the design teams answer was like “hey boss so what if we add more systems this time?” And then he goes “fantastic!”
But point taken I can not sit hear and say chasing financial goals has never diminished quality in their games.
Sadly it’s not going change them. Like I said that’s their risk. We as customers can say yes or no with our money.
Ps just fyi I can spell and know grammar I just hate the auto correct and typing on a phone…too lazy to correct everything. I swear I went to school and stuff.
Good points and discussion all around.
I have no issues with them chasing their bottom line… as an MBA… I totally get it.
its just obvious it has had a major impact in a negative light on their game the last 5 years… sad nobody can see the correlation.
As always… 10.0 will probably be meh, and the game will be decent around 10.1 or 10.2
You are literally just complaining to complain. Not everyone plays classic and the time between expansions is perfectly in line with the average. Also cite your sources about top tier players because the actual top tier players like Max, Kalamazi, etc. are all pretty content with the state of Beta. Literally everything you said was either wrong or just mindless, bratty complaining.
Literally max last week talking about raid testing…
“No tier sets, many abilities don’t work. Super close to wrath release which a lot of players looked forward to. Not really upset with blizzard because they have to work on DF and get this stuff tested but man does that feel bad.”
maybe theyll fix all of this by launch… but i have my doubts. Launch broken and fix by .1
pretty much how they do things.
The only reasonable gripe to that in relation to raid testing is abilities not working. You don’t need tier sets to test bosses. The Wrath thing has zero relevance, it’s just a personal gripe.
I don’t really care what Max has to say since he isn’t an average player.
It would be nice to have tier sets to test bosses after the disaster we saw in 9.2
The power creep and how insanely overtuned those raids were… they werent even possible without 4pc.
Sepulcher was a nightmare, they HAVE to do better in 10.0
Would it be nice? Sure.
Is it required? No.
PI the warlock, everyone else stands around. Probably all of dragonflight again sadly.
That’s okay, they’ll just nerf the warlock again because of an external that they won’t do anything about.
Ha, destro got nerfed but demo is like 30% better than all other classes.
How they kept PI the world may never know… should have been a raid type buff, like a mini lust type of thing. But w.e
I was all for it just being self-cast for the priest only, but after what they did to priests with the talent trees. The PI Tax is too high for a lot of that.
Umm no it wasn’t content. It was just trash azz homework no one wanted to do. Content is running around in the world and interacting with people. That’s what is actually fun. If I run out of things to do it’s a me problem. Literally a whole world someone sat and designed. Not all content needs to be apart of the game. The world itself is the content. Go outside and stop sitting in capitol.
TOP PLAYERS, what else needs to be said /s
hallelujah!
Non-DF buyers get the prepatch, so im guessing thats a no.
No it didn’t. I remember I couldn’t login until 2-3 hours after launch, had issues for 2-3 hours, barely got to do anything before I had to go to bed. So quickly people forget.
?? Demon Hunter released in pre-patch. If you bought Legion, you could make one early. If you didn’t, you still got pre-patch but couldn’t make a Demon Hunter early.
Yes, Evoker will be in prepatch.
