Mark as Resolved? or Not?

When a Ticket is marked as “Answered” you are given two option to click. It’s either “Mark as Resolved” or “I Still Have a Problem.”

So what do you do if the Game Master states “the issue can not be fixed at this time,” or, “we are looking into it.”

 Do you press “I Still Have a Problem” . . . because I still do? This leads to an infinite ticket loop.
or
 Do you press “Mark as Resolved” . . . because there is no solution, but, now Blizzard thinks it’s fixed so they do nothing??

Marking it resolved does not equate to “it’s fixed”. It means that your ticket is currently resolved as you’ve gotten the answer from a GM.

The QA or Dev team would still be working on the issue overall despite the resolution of your ticket

If you are aware that our Support staff is unable to assist directly with the issue, as in the case of a bug or other ongoing issue, then mark it as resolved.

“I still have a problem” assumes that our staff can do something and it just didn’t happen.

:grinning:Thank you for the response.

While I understand completely, the “Mark as Resolved” button leaves a bad taste in ones mouth.
I have friends who did the ticket loop via the “I Still Have a Problem” button for a few months.

 If GMs could replace “Marked as Resolved” with appropriate phrases for things like unresolved issues that will be fixed later, people would be more accepting of their situation.

You’re welcome to suggest it- via the in-game feedback or posting in the general forum (monitored by devs and QA).
