It’s very unlikely they’ll release the patch during a one week only event. Just common sense really.
unlikely is better than impossible
The same common sense that says do an 8 hour maintenance on servers during a 1 week only ever event?
They let us speculate all weekend and then they just dropped that on us 13 hours before maintenance starts.
I only say unlikely because nothing is impossible. Blizzard could up and say screw the next patch and release War Within next month, it’s unlikely they will, but nothing is impossible.
Which obviously the servers need it because this 1 week event can’t handle what’s being pushed on it.
If the quality of it is anything like this event, skip the patch.
I look forward to all the “refund” and “This all?” topics flooding the forums tomorrow
Oh I have zero faith that we’re going to have anything quality come out even with War Within…Seeing the D4 event, this event, and how The Big Dig turned out…I have no hope for the game and zero faith that the developers will pull off something remotely decent. My thoughts is the quality of War Within is going to be on par to BFA or Shadowlands with everything we’re seeing them put out right now and the last few months.
this is a weird way of saying 10.2.6 patch but okay
Blood Moon fixes on the horizon?
hope it stays at 8h lol
It’ll go like 5h, then things will start going badly after the realms come up.
Shenanigans will ensue!
Just wanted to make sure as I woke up today seeing pictures of people erecting tailor made tents around the event areas. So I was a tad worried as I hated the lag bomb stuff people did during the diablo event where they spammed all the really animated toys and it just nuked the server
See, I read the opposite. They schedule 8 hour server maint, just in case, but think it is probably less. Then, because of all the hype about the secret patch, they figured they better come in here and say what the deal is with the extended maint to avoid the S-storm when it’s back up earlier and there is no patch.
I really hope you’re right and I’m wrong. I’m going to plan on not being able to play at all today just in case.
I’m glad they’re probably not going to do that again. Or at least give more info about it when they try this again.
I’m a renewed WoW player - so, the mechanics of playing are new to me again (which is cool, I forgot how to play anyway). It’s also been a while since I got caught in the update, while playing.
Do we not have a countdown anymore? I remember a countdown, but didn’t get one. Hopefully, I’ll not still be fighting that mob group that froze.
Wish servers would be able to handle more than 30 players on the same shard using abilities. Stuff being extremely laggy even in Epic BGs is terrible.
The Portal near Org is a bad bad with lag…the last time a bit ago on my horde druid it got so bad I died cause of lag…SW and Val are not so bad but the one by Org is ouch…
