My tank Brann just got one-shot in a +8 on first pack. Went to PUG one since solo healing delves was removed. Cant find a tank for +20min. Unsubbed.

A tiny step. If they completely revert the damage taken nerf he would at least be usable. Still incredibly gimped compared to a tank with dps Brann or dps with a healer Brann, but not totally useless.
That’s not the worst one. Right after Brann, and then I, died to the Swarm in Earthcrawl, he had the AUDACITY to say, ‘Next time, let’s use some harder hitting abilities!’…
My guy, you HAD harder hitting abilities, but Blizz deemed you TOO powerful.
I respectfully disagree. I ran a T9 on my Prot Warrior with lvl 55 Healing Brann and found two Hobgoblins sobbing over their drowned buddy. They were slightly challenging, but I felt like a third would’ve been more fulfilling.
Sadly, this just proves that not all changes are good. Tank Brann needs to be buffed again, as I ran Earthcrawl on my Mistweaver Monk (casting healer) and I have to pump him full of heals just to get sub-par results, and he still ends up dying at least thrice to the Hobgobs or any swarm larger than 8 in number.
Meanwhile, I don’t even use DPS Brann. Something needs to change and be buffed again, and I think it needs to be Tank Brann.

I’m not upset by the change but the problem with them was tank Brann standing in melee range would immediately take all 3 charges and get immediately KO’ed. Never had issue with them with healer or dps Brann.
The problem wasn’t the hobgoblins. The problem is, and remains, Brann’s idiotic combat ai.

That too, yeah, but there’s only so much Blizz can adjust, right? I have absolutely no clue about programming AI, but to compensate for his shenanigans of standing in hazards, he NEEDS to be buffed, especially if he’s going to face-roll more than 3 enemies, to balance out this issue.
The difference is staggering, when I was on my Prot Warrior in the same scenario, I was avoiding hazards and using one or two defensive CDs, while on MW Monk, I had to straight up spam Vivify, Envloping Mist, all while channeling Soothing Mist and timing Life Cocoon, and he still perished at least twice.
Granted, my Brann is lvl 55 (I think 56 now), so they could be testing with a max level Brann.

Agreed. If they don’t want to make him move out of, well anything then yes he needs to be a lot tougher.

Rogue w/ 55 Healing Brann (Started with Tank but switched)
10+ Player Deaths, 3 Brann Deaths (before the Switch)
Prot Warrior w/ 55 Healing Brann
0 Deaths, 0 Deaths
MW Monk (caster) w/ 55 Tank Brann
1 Player Death, 2 Brann Deaths
Summary:
Tank Brann is still getting backhanded by even small mobs when there’s more than 3 he’s tanking and I have to pump him with heals. Against the Elite Hobgobs and those pesky little goblins that ‘summon’ more goblins, it’s no contest, Brann dies, and I die.
Playing as DPS is a bit depressing because I have to wait for ALL my defensives to finish their cooldown before pulling the next mob, making Delves disappointing and unfulfilling.
Playing as Tank is not much of a challenge. Feels like a typical +5 Key with a healer throwing potions at me.
Rogue is 630
Monk is 615
Warrior is 613
Brann is lvl 55
Hope this data helps give Brann some more buffs in the future, especially for Healers and DPS… I don’t like face-tanking mobs on my rogue.

I don’t understand how anyone could say they weren’t a problem, especially at T11.
Because you could use any of the 4 million ways to get them to stagger and then they became a non issue
I don’t have any experience with rogue, but yeah I can imagine it being a pain for them since the first thing any Brann does is break whatever CC you set up. lol
Other dps I run depending on the mob type it is often better to just pop offensive cd’s instead and burn through the mobs letting Brann’s potions do their work. Stuff in delves dies really quick to a good burst of dps.
Had pretty much the same experience with my warrior, or any of my tanks really. They all laugh at the idea of “difficulty” in delves.
I’m glad that you have your boundaries, but could you please not challenge the players’ boundaries?
I have not tried him yet but I suspect he is not that great…. If he is not I’ll just continue to wait for a tank to be available…. But not going to unsub over it.
I have to admit, just thinking about how they nerfed him… It seems so severe as if they were punishing customers for using Brann. I don’t know… The sheer numbers that they nerfed him by just feels like somebody had a tantrum and turned him so far the other way.
I just did a T11 as resto shaman just to see what it would feel like as opposed to elemental (how I usually do them). It was hilariously easy. I was healing Brann for no other reason than to pulse damage. He doesn’t get chunked. I may do them as heals on all my toons that have that spec now, lol. Cause that was a bit of a joke tbh.
Here we go again, another season, another patch with a bunch of stuff that clearly did NOT get fully tested - so we the players get ping ponged with large changes and lots of downtime.
How about focus on getting stuff right BEFORE moving it to live?
