Our druid healer in shuffles was either really bad, or threw the match win trading with a mage. I wasnt informed of this until after I exited the arena and wish to manually report them for throwing the match.
How do i do this?

I donât believe there would be an appropriate ticket path for this.
The best thing to do would be send a report to hacks@blizzard.com with all the details you can remember: character name, realm, approximate date/time, and brief details about what happened.
You wonât get a reply from the hacks team, but they will review your report and take the appropriate action. Also, please donât expect anything to happen right away as it will take time for the hacks team to review your report, look at the logs, and determine what (if anything) should happen.
Although you can send screenshots and/or videos, they wonât use just that to determine if the other player did something wrong. Blizzard uses their own internal logs when conducting investigations.
Doubt that, there has been several sent with video proof of an evoker time stop bugging and teleporting in arenas with a rather smug guild name. That said player is still doing this over a month later. OP should use the in game report system next time he encounters a suspected âwin traderâ although this accusation is thrown around quite often in PvP as an excuse with zero merit.
Trust us they do but not on our time table but stick around long enough u will see plenty of im innocent of such and such only to be shot down by the blues
The issue is that blizz makes it increasingly more difficult to actually report people.
Itâs not that difficult. right click and report, as with hacks, send an email to hacks@blizzard.com
Reporting advertisements in LFG requires 150% more menu clicks than it did in DF for no discernible reason.
Youâre also capable of submitting reports only for reasons blizzard thinks are applicable. Certain report options like chat will not be available for reporting.
Submitting a ticket to report someone is also discouraged despite no right click option being valid.
Itâs just a bad system
When you report via right click - it takes a snapshot of the game logs which give the investigating GMâs a great starting point to look for the infractions etc.
Submitting a ticket doesnât give that snapshot, so it would take a lot more time to comb through things.
If you can think of better ways to do it - provide the feedback through the appropriate channels for consideration.
I havenât had to report anyone for it so I might be mistaken, but isnât there a âgameplay sabotageâ option when reporting someone? Win trading I imagine would fall under that.
If not, then the hacks email sounds like the only way to do so.
I posted my understanding about this in another thread some weeks back outlining how reporting someone from a different dialog panel would give you different reporting options, Iâll see if I can find it.
The options are all still available to us, but I assume as an effort to cut down on potential campaign reporting, theyâre available only to those that have partaken in similar activity.
Unless you have proof they are throwing a match I am sure not much will happen. But yes hacks@blizzard is the best option.
People can have a off day, heck I even one day had a wireless mouse battery die in the middle of a raid. Until I changed the battery not much I could do and if it was a pvp match it would have been bad.
The reason for the specific categories is because they are designed to capture the correct data and route the ticket to the correct group, for example Chat offenses go to GMs, while exploits/AFK/RMT/Botting type penalties go to the hacks group. This is done so that the tickets can be efficiently handled, if instead it went to a general bucket, then the GM for example on a chat offense would spend far more time just getting to the text being reported, and it would greatly reduce the number of tickets that could be reviewed.
Which is the right thing to do. However, the way blizzard turned a W into an L is by trying to make the decision for me and removing certain options based on what they think is a valid report from my pov.
Seriously though. Show me one change they did recently to improve the report system. Everything I can think of is a worse user experience.
If you want to debate on this, youâd want head over to the general forum. The CS is an infomation desk, not an âChange my mindâ area. If you believe a thing a way it is, youâre most likely not going to change your mindset on it. Even then, this is becoming off topic.
This is customer support.
The purpose of this forum isnât to work out the way things should be, but to ensure that people are accurately informed on the way things are at the current time.
