mankrik and pagle have always had more people on them. but you lock faerlina and benediction. more people should go to mankrik and pagle for the biggest horde and alliance servers
this is an oddity. whitmane is also opened up up too.
So I moved my best horde there while its open. If I level cap better chance for a gaming life for her lol.
Going off ironforge whitemane aināt too far off from grobb. INb4 not real numbers. I know. BLizzard could settle all of this. it jsut need one spreadsheet posted up even. that is not likely.
Wow why does pagle blow mankrik out of the water for arena ratings? Mankrikās showing is absolutely horrible
Numbers taken from Ironforge(dot)pro:
(Active characters according to raids uploaded to [Warcraft Logs]and characters on [PvP Leaderboards])
Benediction - 29720 (100% alliance)
Faerlina - 25269 (99.8% Horde)
Mankrik - 16428 (99% Horde)
Pagle - 15353 (99.6% Alliance)
No dude, its not even comparable. Mankrik and Pagle are on the razorās edge of having a queue time at peak hours, anything more than that is excess and causes the queues that rocked (or are still rocking?) the pvp megaservers.
EDIT: I donāt know if Faerlina or Benediction still get queue times or not but on release they hit record queues previously unheard of in this gameās history (10000-15000 player lines, exceeding 8 hour waits, if memory serves) while I think maybe Mankrik at least had a queue at peak hours of maybe 40 minutes? While actual numbers have deflated since then theyāre just gonna spike again when Ulduar hits and theres no reason to believe ironforge(dot)proās census isnt still fairly accurate.
At the very least, āmankrik and pagle have always had more peopleā was never and still isnāt correct.
mankrik big horde pve realm.
Is this a level 10 troll post?
Itās not the first time that OPs not only made that mistake, but also insisted on it.
Itās not even like itās new that the āPvPā mega servers have had more than their PvE counterparts.
Perhaps thereās more to actual population numbers than is reflected in raid logs!
Humm what? I think Blizzard and data from server population sites knows better than you. At least show some data for your claims.
Yeah, my understanding is Bene was about double the size of Pagle when they started this server pop balancing project and that they are still quite a bit larger than Pagle is now.
Around P2 of Classic, Pagle was the biggest Alliance server, but during TBC a lot of smaller realms moved wholesale to Bene, and when they opened up PVE > PVP even more ppl moved to Bene. Bene was huge at that point, and we all saw the massive queues they had at WotLK launch. Pagle has never had a queue of more than a few mins, and we figured they locked us for a while simply to prevent the mass migration pattern repeating itself, not because we were actually capped in population.
There is indeed. But it goes both ways.
If Pagle says 15k per logs, can freely assume itās 20k.
Therefore if Bene says 30k, can freely assume itās actually like 38k
Oh iām so glad we were locked at launch. Seen queue a few times and Iād get insta scared.
When Ulduar comes out, queues are coming back across all realms.
hmm⦠idk if that makes any sense whatsoever.
But of course, we could also freely assume that if it says 10K, it really means 100K.
Which part doesnāt make sense to you?
Logs only show logged activity.
- Not every raid is logged.
- Not ever random pugger is recorded on logs.
- Not everyone raids.
Sure, but that doesnāt really give us any basis for assumption.
wym? Thatās the definition of an āassumptionā
Assume
/ÉĖsoĶom/
suppose to be the case, without proof.
āit is reasonable to assume that such changes have significant social effectsā
man every 1 of u clones r sayin when ulduar comes back were gonna have this magical extreme queue. like dude everyone didnt play wotlk. a lot of people dont know what ulduar is or didnt do it. u cant predict the future for other people. stop this copy train of sayin when ulduar comes theres gonna be a lot of queues
Fingers crossed Iām wrong.
Just going to have to wait and see it for ourselves. I bet Blizzard dev team is doing the exact same thing.
Off the top of my head, first week of Naxx logs were nearly doubled of SWP. And itās Naxx⦠and SWP logs were much higher than T4 iirc.
