It’s fair that mages have to deal with mana, considering they’re the only class in the game that can pull 10 mobs at a time and aoe them down in 10 seconds every time living flame is up.

Are you solo targeting stuff and drinking after every mob??

warriors and rogues shouldn’t have trouble managing their HP resources since they are taking hits in melee range unlike a mage who never loses much HP engaging enemies because they shoot spells from range with mana! makes sense according to your logic

theres downtime for every class between mobs

if your complaining about not keeping up on trash pulls while you drink maybe your too worried about the DPS meter instead of the fact your group is clearing the content easily if you cant keep up and have to drink.

the only time your mana matters is on the boss and youve got cooldowns like evo and mana gems/potions for that. get good is what im trying to say

The game will move to level 40 in 3-4 weeks. I wouldn’t expect too many changes.

Yeah because rogues do way more damage than mages. Cancelling a spell is a huge dps loss. And you don’t need to kick on every fight.

The point is, kicking is utility and has nothing to do with the balance of how mana is regenerated. Mana is not balanced at all right now. Casters do worse damage than energy/rage classes even at full mana. And they have to drink 30 seconds if they go all out on trash to compete with the same classes. And for what? they have to sit and drink for 30 seconds every 1-2 pulls.

Managing resources in an encounter is completely different than managing resources throughout an entire raid/dungeon because of trash.

Agreed, so we should keep the core gameplay the same.

I imagine most devs are already on vacation so I don’t expect any changes the rest of the year, but it’s not like everyone is going to have infinite mana in phase 2 unless they’re introducing a lot of resource related runes in that phase.

But how i posed do the the biggest of damages if i put all mah points in mana reduction dummy?!

I swear you players who have experience playing this game and know your class act like the player is the problem and not the class.

Blizzard needs to give mages energy and change all our talents to dmg increasing talents. Easy fix!

And I said do you prefer a playstyle where you use auto attacks or wands more so you spend less time sitting drinking?

Oh the irony of using 2 abilities that didnt exist in vanilla to argue why vanilla level mana shouldnt change.

its not fair warriors start with 0 rage. im ANGRY so I should start with 100 rage whenever i see a mage. change this glaring oversight immediately blizzard

That’s not really true, but ok. All classes have powerful abilities. Maybe hunter is lacking there, but I’d say every other class has a host of powerful abilities.

Except they didn’t even in real vanilla and with runes it’s just entirely not even remotely close to being a true statement.

mages absolutely have more powerful abilities. you’re just mad you can’t spam them 24/7 :expressionless:

But each class also gets a lot of damage from what is basically auto attacks. Unlike newer versions they are not constantly pressing abilities, that’s the point.

I’m mad that I have to wand or drink while physical gets to do their full rotation and do more damage the entire raid. It’s not fun nor balanced. I’m not asking to remove cooldown on frost nova or make sheep undispellable.

Mages have some powerful abilities but it’s not so much that they deserve to be trash tier on dps. And certainly don’t deserve to run oom every trash pull or do wand dps.
