[Malaysia] Wow launcher cant get connected,

Mobile network works, but ISP doesn’t. Did Blizz actually just blocked entire countries from playing the game?

Region: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
ISP: Unifi
Mobile Network: Maxis

smh

Went out for a day and came back hoping to play. Still not fixed. Sad

Region: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
ISP: Unifi (Telekom Malaysia)

US folks complaining of paying $15 bucks with the downtime and here we are paying FOUR times more :frowning: due to our lousy exchange rate.

which vpn?..i’m on Battleping and still cannot connect normaly…Been using Battleping since Panda

$15 is still $15, the exchange rate is based off economy. 1 Ringgit is not = 1 Dollar. Youre not paying 4 times more than anyone, unless youre paying $60…

No blue response or aknowledgement? Come on blizz. Its been over 12hrs since we got shadowbanned.

ivoh, why are you talking about economy when we would far care less, about kerajaan baharu. Looking for an update, still not able to connect to bnet. Blizz tech come on

So sad. Long weekend but can’t play. I thought this was part of the DDOS that happened… Oh well, time to do other stuffs meanwhile!

Only because a guy was saying because he lives in Malaysia, so he pays more than $15 for a sub, which isn’t true, he pays more than 15 Ringgits, not more than 15 dollars.

@ivoh, ayoh whatever dude, that small matter oso u susah, cheh lol

Ignore him. And leave him be. O well, enjoy your public holidays for tmrw M’sian folks. Hope we can connect and play by then.

anyway… its been hours 19h to be exact after ddos attack.

isp: unifi
loc: penang
issue : cant connect login server using unifi but able to using mobil, celcom, maxis and digi.

can someone tell me a vpn that works for malaysia and can connect to classic oceanic server?

Funny thing is, this really is a huge call back to Vanilla WoW. Does anyone here still remember how an undersea earthquake wrecked some internet cables back then and ping was 10k ms+? I lost my raid spot in my guild because of that extended period of not being able to login.

I guess this is part of the #nochange Classic experience. =x

yes the taiwan shakeup… many ram manufacturing got knocked out.

this is like the full blown vanilla experience. including the withdrawal syndrom.

and to hope bliz would have improved customer service after 10 freaking years. how naive.

im not yet even lv10 lol to decide which class to play hahaha…anyway hope tomorrow gonna get a better response from blizz…

It has been a full day of this connection issues Blizzard, is this the kind of customer support your company stands on?

You guys are such money leeches that you cannot even provide good services to your loyal monthly paying customers that actually want to play your game during their weekends.

At the moment this is an issue that we’re looking into that is mainly affecting players in Malaysia. This is going to be the majority of people posting in this threadw. If you are having this issues please do post the name of your ISP and a WinMTR test. When posting the results, please format it by encasing it in a set of ~~~ like so:

WinMTR Contents

We have seen reports of players being able to get in while using a VPN or a mobile connection which is generally going to indicate an issue specific to the ISP. If you’re able to give either a try, we’d recommend doing so.

read my post, the battle net link you provide does not work, because we cant access any battle net related address.

i have downloaded winMTR from sourceforge and tried to MTR the battle net host the other blue posted but there is no output at all.

did a pingplotter test to the same address and it reached 10.55.96.167 IANA in LA and then got cut off.

just now hotspot can online but now then nothing can help, what a waste good holiday…

also there cant suddenly be several country’s ISP suddenly having issue with your server, so are you carpet blocking us to counter the DDOS?
