guys are still like “oh this only happenning to malaysia so it must be their sheethole ISP thing” denial and flat out lying. been seeing ppl from Thailand and Mexico having the same issue. Probably means its no where close to being resolved.

There is a different thread regarding Mexico.
Since it is likely 2 different issues, traces would be helpful, but keeping them isolated to their respective threads to help tracking.
We all know deep down this is just a wide ban on the ip ranges where the botnets that did the ddos attack were coming from… or its a very very badly timed coinsidence that the moment they start fixing the ddos all of these ISPs get blocked. This is obviously not a long term solution to the DDoS and will likely get fixed within the next few hours or days, but thats the whole point here, we need some aknowledgement of whats going on and a blue post on some ETA on a fix. Are they just going to flat out wait for the ddos to stop to unban the IPs? This could take weeks if thats the case… PSN got ddos-ed for a whole week a couple of years ago.

@bluepost, @blizz tech. So lets back track abit. So we were fine even when ddos atk hit, i mean sea. So when blizz cs fix the issue, all of us SEA not able to login to login server, coincidence? i think not. So means the fix was merely a simple contaiment but not a realfix. Blizz Cs shouldnt route the issue to our Local Malaysia isp entirely, this is a wrong lazy diagnose. Please by all mean get us a ETa and get a fix on it. thank you!

It seem they blocked Totalplay ISP in MEXICO too, I can access Battlenet on my data plan but not from my Totalplay WiFi

Yeah, If they’re reading, they should have known it happen to all SEA countries and Mexico. Give us an ETA so that we dont wait like idiots again after you block our region wide. That’s bs.

It’s been more than 24 hours now that most of us are unable to connect to Battle net, getting pretty serious considering d lack of updates. As per your recommendation, I believe you have sufficient samples/data here provided from d trace routes etc.
And a gentle reminder, it’s not just Malaysia, also people from Mexico, Vietnam and I believe Turkey from other threads (that we know of).
Imagine if this happened in the U.S

Same. :’( Mexico City, Totalplay ISP, can’t access to any battle network, neither the launcher. I can’t even log in to WoW (BLZ51901016). I’ve already called to Totalplay, but none know what the … I was talking about to them… sigh

maybe the block is still in place… just that they allow certain services to go through

10 years bliz… this is not the first time you are getting ddos attacks.
what have you been doing? this is so disgusting for us old timer to come back and see the exact same f-kery going on after soo many years.
