My friends and I are also going Maladath Alliance.
Planning on making our guild this time around with our strong core. We just wants to be able to 25 men raid friday night and sunday night.
Saturday and weekdays are gonna be for fun with 10 men raiding for those that want it (non-mandatory), pvp and dungeons. No obligations on any of those days.
I think we got ourselves a great time ahead of us!
PVP and PVE servers have always been a thing. Since the Ultima and EQ days. That doesn’t mean the game was designed for open world pvp. There is no point capture system and no reason to go out to pvp in the world except to gank.
You’re delusional if you believe PvE players would just suck it up and play on your PvP server. I’ve seen many say they’d just go to the established servers, or quit.
My play time is limited. I play for my enjoyment, not yours pal.
If you REALLY think this split is a population issue, then suck it up and play the PvE server.
Edit: As for the OP, I’ll be going Maladath Horde.
i just love how the guy simply asked which side and why and all these folks do is complain at him without bothering to answer the question. im not sure theres a big enough toolbox in my garage to fit the giant set of craftsman in here.
How it’s always been, and why despite being around since day 1- I’ve never had a thread in the forums… But I figured enough would stay OT for me to get some direction, also why I refused to engage the rest in any way…if that was a given/happened in all the threads all the time, they (the trolls) wouldn’t exist
While I’d prefer to take a more optimistic outlook, I can’t deny the “90 day lifespan” comment. If (and it’s more of an inevitability, really) Blizzard does open up transfers to fresh, and doesn’t listen to the community about how it ruins servers (the proof is on the pudding), fresh will become just another couple of barrels to scrape.
I’m on skyfury, and I have high hopes (but low expectations) that if enough people speak up, they may not go through with opening up transfers.
Players wanted classic expansions, not to shell out to transfer toons every couple of months.
