No worries.
Sounds like that Troll archaeology sword from Cata. Looking for that sword drove a couple people in this guild, from that time, completely away from WoW… like forever…

The destroyer of your sanity…
Stop transmogging. Seriously, when I was saving for longboi I stopped transmogging for a few months. It’s worth a lot.
Callings. These things just throw gold at you.
Sell crafting mats. You don’t even have to farm them this expansion for a bit of extra cash. Just all the meat, fish, cloth, everything else that you just passively collect while playing. Slap it up on the AH.
Professions. Always the most reliable. I finally got around to leveling inscription last week. Missives are a very reliable source of income. Nothing life changing. But they sell.
Quite possible. 0.02% drop chance, quite rare, which is the reasoning of it’s value. Some like a steady lucrative stream of income, some want the big payouts. To each their own.
Right now the crafted mount in ZM are kind of hot so if you farm the mats for some of those they can sell pretty well.
Other then JC i’m pretty self sufficient. I have a enchanter, alchemist, BS, Engineering alts that are sitting at lvl 50 in orbis just for sl crafting.
I have the bonesmith satchel soulbind and my command table gives me plenty of mats to spread around
Lol nice, I’ve got level 1 alchemy for flask duration and low level engineering for brez.
I’m terrible at making money (very lazy)
I made 500k+ gold from ZM chests in about few weeks if thats helps … selling Essentia all you gota do is open chests or gather , they sell fast
On 2 characters I do the callings and anima quests for each covenant since I have them maxed on both. The biggest hassle is going to the covenant halls and getting the quests. Otherwise anima falls from the sky and it’s super easy. So 24k+ in callings and 12.8k in anima quests a week. I also have a druid to farm herbs and my alt is an alchemist so I never buy potions or flasks. Other than that I sell everything I get while playing the game.
Yeah ZM and supplementing with callings seems to be the way to go. After about a day I’m sitting at 45k, starting with 10k.
If you don’t have much time to dedicate to gold making I might recommend getting into crafter’s mark gear.
I have many alts and play with all the profs right now and alchemy tends to be the most competitive. Really doesn’t work out well if you don’t have the time to camp out the AH and babysit your postings.
Often i’ll end the day by posting a couple of everything from each of my professions and it seems the thing that moves the most volume overnight without babysitting is the 233 crafted gear.
Also keep in mind when you see the cost of materials on the AH compared to the prices of the crafted items it looks like the margins are super thin or they’re selling at a loss but those crafters are usually just waiting for the times/days mats are cheap. You can find price trends on The Undermine Journal.
Also you need a bit of an initial investment. I know tailoring used to be the cheapest to get started with but I’m not sure how it is now.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP
I made over 90k gold in less than 2 days. I can afford my first 291! Thank you all <3
Farm raw materials. They sell well since all the professions need them.
In legion I farmed ore for a few hundred thousand gold. In bfa I swapped to skinning and herbing.
I would post at 80-85%of market value and it would sell pretty quick.
It’s actually a very deterministic piece of loot that you cab work directly towards. It’s just very boring. But it beats having to constantly cancel/ repost crafted items all the time.
