IMO its more of I worked my butt off trying to get those appearances and they were tough as hell for me on some of them. But nowadays Blizzard is handing out requests like candy so you might get want you want.

Pardon my memory, I do not recall. Was the Mage Tower announced as limited time content or was it just something Blizz conveniently just dropped development on and discontinued? I was actually touring the USA for the better part of WoD and Legion so didn’t log in regularly (though I did get most of my MT stuff done thankfully).

Then I’m against reinstating it as it was, but not against something in the vein of what the OP has suggested.
You said to keep the original achievement unobtainable, or make it a Feat of Strength, but that caves too much to the pro-Fomo side. If the appearances are still obtainable, so should the achievement be. Achievements and feats of strength are still content that people like to collect. They ought to bring back the Black Harvest title as well.
Edit: Besides, many of the people here don’t want to compromise anyway.
So put a MT entrance ticket on the BMAH, that would be consistent, right? And if you fail, you fail. Gotta pay to play again.

Is this not the same thing? I’m failing to see an argument against OPs request. He is asking them to do the same exact thing they did with the Core Hound mount.
So when OP provided evidence of Blizzard reintroducing “limited-time” content, it’s not good enough? We need multiple instances? Sounds like folks are moving the goal post.
Just because you disagree with the topic does not constitute the post as trolling. This appears to be a genuine request. I’ll agree that it’s going against the CoC like you linked previously. But it’s not trolling.

Superfluous threads on the same topic, where I may add the Op has been quite active in all of them and so is well aware of what he’s doing, is spam.
I mean, almost every rule has exceptions. That said, Core Hound Mount shouldn’t be on the BMAH imo.
Anyway, I don’t really have a horse in this race anymore, I’ve already lost. I wanted them to focus dev time on new challenges, instead of rehashing old content. As long as we are collectively satisfied with recycled content, they have no motivation to provide anything new.

I’m fine with the Mage Tower returning.
I’m fine with bringing new recolors for the mage tower skins.
But the original skins and colors should -not- be earnable. Period.
They told us it was limited time. They gave us ample warning to finish it. I forced myself to play my druid when I didn’t want to. (I still missed out on the werebear)
If they bring back the original skins for Mage Tower, I will personally keep a “Bring back MoP Challenge Mode Mogs & Mounts” thread active in this forum until they do.

Oh I don’t want the original MT appearances back, I mean Rhay made a point about their struggles to get the form. And I respect that. I’d like, and still like recolors if anything.
I just think OP has a really good argument. They found evidence of Blizzard adding “time-limited” content back into the game.
The known-troll OP is “proposing” that anyone defeating either of his suggested difficulty modes wins the Mage Tower weapon model for their spec. It’s not in the same galaxy as a compromise.

Adding something to the BMAH is not the same as making it widely available to every single person for a long period of time every year.
The BMAH stocks maybe 2 or 3 Core Hounds per server per year, and they go for millions.
The BMAH literally exists to bring back things removed from the game. That’s LITERALLY why it exists.

It was announced as going away with bfa patch. They gave lots of notice. Most people with gripes about it were playing back then but didn’t- for whatever reason [insert excuse here] - get it.
