Do you mean the Steelbound Devourer, which is a crafted mount? It certainly is the same look, other than being green. Then again, many mounts in this game are recolours. The no-longer-available Violet Spellwing, for example, is a recolour of the Solar Spirehawk. Just to name one pair.
While a recolour is, well, a recolour, it isn’t the same mount as the original. I have a Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank that is a recolour of the Black Qiraji Battle Tank but nobody could see them as being the same mount. I wish…
Make timewalking Mage Tower reward the artifact appearances and have it be waaaay easier.

They won’t put the time in to have the encounters work with modern classes. They will be undertuned or the scaling will be wildly out of control to the point of being impossible in some cases.

I’d like them to reintroduce some of the store items they removed 2.5 years ago. They said they may bring them back sometime in the future.

Youtubers Taliesin and Evitel’s new video discuss this and Taliesin is of the same of the same opinion as OP, but contends that the rewards will be the T20 stuff.

Were the MT skins "limed time"or “exclusive”?
I cant recall the wording but I felt at the time that if you missed out on the opportunity then you missed out.
I do feel bad for those who are new to the game and will not get a chance at these.
Was there some kind of caveat like: “Once the expansionʻs ends we will be removing them as obtainable skins”
