I know some people agree with me and are afraid to speak up or cant afford a sub right now to post here.
Considering that $15 lets you have access to two versions (Classic and Retail) of the game, Iâd say that itâs perfectly priced.
But yeah, continue this faux outrage over this small amount of money per month.
I sincerely hope that you are trollingâŚ
You say that you / your friends cannot afford the $15 / month subscription fee. Fair enough. Blizzard has given you a way to play the game for free. You farm gold and buy a token each month. Since âthereâs not much to do because of the shut downsâ then you should have plenty of time to farm gold.
Thatâs actually a good point, two games for one sub, and the second one doesnât even have the added cost of xpacs. Someone could play classic forever and never pay for an xpac again.
There are F2P game people can play for entertainment.
Good point. 21 cents a day for classic and 21 cents a day for retail.
It is indeed SundayâŚ
Idk if you people live fly over states or what but itâs expensive in California and thatâs where a lot of players are from. Maybe they should give a loyalty discount or something for players who have been subbed for over 2 years and a new comer discount too
back in my day 80âs I would easily put away 10 to 15 dollars a day playing arcade games, I will gladly continue to pay 15 dollars a month. and you get a discount if you pay 3 months or 6 month out.
Starting to get a fierce Karen vibeâŚ
Ya there are free to play games which is why blizzards should lower the price to compete with them and show us that they value us and are loyalty
Thereâs not a single MMORPG worth playing that has a significantly cheaper sub price, IMO.
Either the game is trash, itâs comparable but also similarly priced, or itâs on some crappy F2P scheme that feels bad for non-payers.
Edit: GW2 is an exception, but itâs also non-standard in that thereâs basically 0 reason to play it for more than a few weeks since its endgame lacks any long-term progression for the most part.
The monthly cost isnât an issue for me. I just find it only worth paying for three or four months though.
I just dip in and play when I wanna scratch the Wow itch, like in October, December and maybe in the summer for a bit.
Its been a good game over the years, and I donât have an issue with the cost. But, its not fun enough any more to play on a regular basis.
Blizzard has F2P games for people to play. They donât need to compete.
42 cents a day may have been expensive in Cali in the 1930s.
You a time traveler?
Listen, Karen. You can complain all you want, and we can tell you all we want that youâre wrong, but in the end, Blizzard will not lower their sub price. Itâs kept that way so the store doesnât become the pay-to-win store.
So pay the sub or donât. And if youâre skipping meals, you really should unsub and fix your money situation.
They are going to keep adding to the store no matter what and the sub price is going to stay the same thatâs what they been doing for years. The sub ainât stopping nothing but players coming to this game and their ability to keep playing like I said I know people agree with me itâs just a lot of them arent playing anymore and couldnt afford it
This!
I have had multiple friends that simply just said ânopeâ when the 15 dollars came up. One friend told me that there were better looking games for a better price point.
How is cutting your main source of revenue in half nice for Blizzard? As it is theyâve taken an inflation hit for not raising prices. In constant 2005 dollars we now pay $11.25/mo for WoW.
And people saying that its only 40 cents a day thatâs 200 dollars a yearâŚ
