Make remote desktop against ToS

Make it against ToS and start handing out bans. Ques would not be half as long if half the server cap was not literally logged in 24/7 exploiting the automatic afk log out system.

I wonder if it’s technically against the terms of service to make a bot that logs you in at a specific time. I mean it’s really just a bot for your desktop not the game. Hmm.

The moment they log on and use remote desktop to stay logged in it should be against ToS

You realize you can download windows on a Nintendo switch, a phone, etc and log into wow correct? I use my phones hotspot and play AV on my switch from work lol

you realize this is about exploiting the afk system not playing the game through remote desktop lol

and no one is playing wow on their switch

yall make up such imaginary absurd scenarios

I log into wow on my switch when I’m about to leave for work then keep myself logged in while at work. So when I get home, there’s no que. It works wonders. I only play at work maybe 2 hours of the 9 hours I am actually at work lol.

Tell me…how exactly would Blizzard be able to tell if I was playing at my desktop, laptop, or remotely. Explain…please. I can’t wait to hear it.

I haven’t had to sit through a single que tho. =D

they can tell when multi boxers use software im not an software engineer, but it doesn’t sound complicated.

Again - you don’t know what you are talking about. Just because you are upset about the queue doesn’t mean what others are doing is exploiting anything. Read up a little bit and do it yourself. No one is stopping you.

you are actually dense if you think they cant tell who is using remote login

they would do it the same exact way they detect any other type of exploitive software

Multiboxers use a program that simulates many key strokes from your computer, onto several different wow accounts. which is easily recognized by the game itself. Remote desktop casts your desktops exact same programs onto another device.

lol you are actually on some copium its literally the same underlying idea
and you dont play wow on your switch

They made the same argument when the multi boxers got banned

They don’t get it Jagerin. Don’t waste your breath.

says its no longer available LOL
nice try bud

Then look it up yourself, google is a wonderful tool or if you prefer bing.

using software to emulate key strokes and mouse clicks is against tos. There you go remote desktop is agains tos

why wouldent remote desktop fall under this

Emulating would be me playing one program of wow, while it does the same action on a different program of wow. Remote desktop is casting a single application of wow onto a different device. you’re still only playing one application, you’re still clicking and pressing the binds yourself. Its like me casting my desktop to my TV in my living room and playing from there.
