This game’s 1v1 balance is absolutely atrocious, so a 1v1 shuffle bracket would be awful.
Dueling resetting CD’s would be cool, though.

1v1 hasn’t been and IMO cannot be balanced, otherwise every class and spec would be reskins with a ranged or melee designation.
Can’t wait to lose to backpedaling rets sneezing on the gamer mouse.

I feel like pveers would abuse this more than pvpers would gain value
People will be starting to reach cap and the wpvp will begin. In 1-2 months, WoW Forever pvp will be starting to take shape.
Thinking wpvp starts at max and not the second I see literally anyone is a red flag.
I have no self preservation skills when it comes to screeching like a banshee and running at alliance like a World War Z zombie

I’m also a believer in the 1v1 bracket! No better way to learn the game and practice your spec/binds.
Couldn’t you just duel?
Convenience of queuing whenever/wherever you want is what the draw is. Only a handful of people hangout in elwynn/durotar. And even less of them even want to duel. 1v1 bracket would be zero effort just hit queue and play.
Anything that you suggest here, which doesn’t revolve around regular 3s, will be rejected.

It would literally be the worst thing ever as its legit unbalancable. Now if they wanna make it about objectives it could be fun but attaching rewards to something deepfried as 1v1s is a non starter.

1v1 isn’t balanced! News flash dork, 3v3 isn’t balanced either. I agree OP, we need some real man stuff back in the game and not this woke “lol I played surv hunter soooo hard” crap. Like yeah dude… it’s still a hunter at the end of the day. Play a hard spec like havoc DH or arms warrior. Something that has to learn how to land kills without the most broken CC in the game.

I personally care not for rewards or balancing. Ofc some 1v1s are unbalanced. Theres always unfavorable match ups. You take the loss if you lose and go next. Just like shuffle if you’re a mage against 2 MM hunters and a BM hunter. Or a warrior in a full mage lobby, or whatever else. But you’re still getting reps and finding ways to play better against that spec. If rewards are such a problem make it all % based idk. So even if you’re spec is garbage tier for duels and the highest rated guy is 1800, % based makes everyone still get whatever reward.
