So sick of hearing about real world politics every 30 seconds while trying to play a video game. Enough is enough. Should have been banned from the beginning before some people made it their entire personality.

I mean, that’s fair; people play video games to escape real world stressors; however, you could like just close/leave chats. Shouldn’t ban people for having differing opinions.

I understand the approach here as it is such a heated and divisive topic, but what about other conversations that occur that are uninterested/disliked? If a discussion breaks out about Care Bears I’m not going to be happy and would rather not read it. Should we ban that, or other topics that people do not like, as well?
This is an incredibly loose example, I know, but I’m simply attempting to highlight that banning topics that is not the way to go. Use the ignore feature or better yet leave the channel entirely for a bit.

That’s not the issue. Both parties suck and they’ve pitted Americans against each other. I’m just sick of the continuous bickering. Especially when there are more appropriate places for political discourse.
There’s no need for bans though, just place them on ignore and enjoy the game.

Chat channels are opt-in in nature. Please, opt-out if you’re having trouble accepting conversations other people are having that you might not enjoy.
