When government allows monopolies to take place and take over a market to where they can silence people that the government doesnât agree with then yes, that is violating freedom of speech.

You can still get educated and not âdrink the cool aidâ, no oneâs pushing you to subscribe to anything, and as a thinking adult you have the ability to do that.
Yes, they are, but the difference is youâre boiling it down to them being strictly mental, where I am posing the multiple of other factors involved, all of which have a bearing on mental health and stability. Often coined as âsocial detriments of healthâ. If a straight person committed/attempted suicide, youâd ask why, so why wouldnât you do the same for someone whoâs not?
And I truly think youâre just looking at a fringe few who are like that, for the vast majority of the LGBTQ community arenât sex-crazed individuals looking for more partners. And honestly itâs understandable and valid that if youâve only seen that small, very narrow portion of the community then your view point will be distorted. Alot of the community is about uplifting one another, providing services to promote their mental health and well-being, and making them feel valid and comfortable with themselves.
Iâm sorry youâve been exposed to those people man, and itâs screwed up and gross. But those type of people donât just exist in the LGBTQ world, they exist every where, straight or otherwise. The more we call it out and expose it the better.
And really, Iâm not even mad or telling your messed up at this point. Its just unfortunate and sad that youâve had this perception based on a very narrow, and condemned, slice of the community.

Iâm highly educated in fact I have a degree in psychology know what my take away from that was? Thatâs its all a load of bullchit serious. I read first hand studies that âproved thingsâ and they didnât really prove anything. The DSM is also a joke they donât know half what I thought they did going in and there protocol involves âwell other people were like this give them one of these drugs and swap until the sides donât suckâ

Imagine for just a second that you held the belief that these people were sick and needed help. From my perspective I see a bunch of sick people and a community that refuses to let us help them and instead looks to castrate our children and not only that but champions the idea of doing so as virtue signaling. Like to me its sick.

Uhh, America was divided long before then.
Eh, itâs not quite that simple. The dispute then turns into what a âpublic squareâ is, as well as private property rights. It gets very muddy at that point, which is why I think the best option is for everyone to try to maintain a high level of decency along with a high level of tolerance for views you think are wrong, and to keep government out of it.
No development in this area is good. Neither government intervention nor the stark exposition of most big tech companiesâ political leanings. Itâs all depressing.
So many of you keep defaulting to the argument that somehow people need to just be able to ignore the chat while expressly ignoring the fact that you are spamming a channel.
Everyone just report for spam anyone who isnât using the channel for its intended purpose.
