Make personal guild banks easier

I am a solo player who wants to create a personal guild bank just for my alts. So currently I have to have 9 (NINE) other unknown players sign my guild charter. Then, to invite all my alts, I have to have one of those unknown players invite my alts.
I paid several to sign, then another player on my very low population realm whispered me that I’d be reported for spamming. So many limitations and restrictions and roadblocks to a personal guild.
I’m not asking that Blizz makes WotLK a new “retail”, just to streamline and slightly ease the way for solo players to create a guild bank.

The point of making you jump though hoops is so that it takes effort to make a guild so there is less of them. This makes names more accessible and you don’t have a bunch of dead guilds taking up names.

If everyone was meant to just go and make a guild they wouldn’t have the requirement.

At best blizzard should just make it if you don’t have 10 people in the guild for 30 days it disbands. Personal guilds were never intended and are only tolerated not supported.

If they wanted you to have more bank space they would add more bank space oh wait they did it’s called void storage coming in a later xpac. They never made guilds eaiser to make as that’s not how they’re intended to be used. You would be better off asking for void storage.

If you dont agree with something then just move on. Its pointless to post your OPINIONS about what was or was not intenteded. Because thats all it is. You dont speak for blizz.

Dude, these are discussion forums. It’s fine for people to post their own opinions.

I’ve had success with just asking people who are guildless in towns if they would like to sign my charters.

Discussions are supposed to be for discussing. Not for telling ppl thier topic is not wanted and to not post that topic. Which was what the reply was implying. And did it by stating as facts, that they knew what the intended use of something was. Which is not a fact it is an opinion. When u make a statement like that it is proper to start it with imo. Not to state it as fact.

I think you make a good point; and it’s great that we are able to share our opinions, such as this one, on these discussion forums.

I think that I tend to use “I think” and “in my opinion” a lot, but it seems as though some people just take it for granted that when they are speaking, it is understood that they are offering their own opinions.

Clarification or clarifying questions sometimes help.

Fair enough. But just to clarify, i was refering to the person that was telling the op about why his idea of personal guild bank was bad by making statements that were his opinion of what the intent of guld banks were and then stating that they were tolerated.

Its all petty. I was just adding my own.

How much gold are you willing to pay for sigs? That is the question.

When I did mine I think I offered 25G per sig. For the last one I shot out 100G for that one and it was a good investment to get that bank. I have a IRL friend that was able to join and inv my alts. Worth it? Yeah IMO I think it is.

In retail it is much easier AFTER get sigs to get alts in. Just post you’re looking for guild members, log into alt and apply. Bingo, you’re in. In Wrath this is just not gonna change.

This is just brain dead dumb.

That’s just a horrible idea.

The way making a guild bank is to whisper 9 people of your mains guild to help you with it on a level 1 parking in the starter zone… done in 5minutes.

If you whisper randoms there is a chance that meanwhile they sign another charter thus being removed from yours. Waste of time.

And although signatures aren’t supposed to disappear, I have lost one in the past couple days.

Fixed, hypocrite.

Maybe the signatory joined a real guild.

I’ve made 5 guilds just for a personal bank over the years in wow. When I made them I made sure I had the time so it would be my total focus for at least two days. Though in the end I only ever needed one day. I’d go to Org and spam the chat channels. Then I’d go to the crossroads and spam the chat channels. Then onto Thunder Bluff and back to Org. Or a similar scenario starting with Stormwind for my alliance alts. I’d do it for hours, then take a break for supper or what ever and come back again for more hours. In several hours I’d be done.

I also always keep an alliance and a horde low level alt unguilded so I could help others get a guild going.

Care to quote a blue, Blizzard or any Blizzard policy that states this? I can assure you no one cares if someone has a personal guild or not, including Blizzard but I’ll wait for your data.

that druid poster is not wanted tbh. spams every thread with mega cringe word salad
