Ouch. Blizzard. Please understand the example and buff us…
Why would any group continue a +13/14 on week 2 if they wiped? You realize that the timers at that level are so tight that it’s an instant dead key?
On week 2 the +12 affix was +20%, now it’s +10%.
On week 2 the +7 affix was 15 seconds of time loss per death, now they added a flat 90 seconds to all dungeon timers.
On week 2 multiple dungeons weren’t adjusted for tuning. Since then we have seen nerfs as big as 20% to hp and damage.
It’s clear you are talking about content you don’t understand.
My suggestion would be to just implement random M+ with 3-4 difficulties you can queue for. Likely +2, +4 and +8 since they are crest thresholds and then maybe a +10 for vault/hardmode queue. ilvl requirements for each level + maybe a M+ rating requirement that you could potentially get from running enough of the previous difficulty dungeons on random.
Nobodies key is used from the current system. The key isn’t needed here because the purpose of the key is to limit chain farming the same dungeon, which is already accomplished in a random queue due to the random part.
If someone leaves, they can be replaced like in any other queued content. Maybe only if the dungeon still has time remaining.
Satchels to attract underrepresented roles. Maybe with additional crests on top of what current satchels offer.
I would love this, but let’s be real there is zero chance this would ever succeed. Just looking at your average player we get in stuff like LFR or any of these raids for the anniversary event should tell us all you need to know about why it wouldn’t work.
What they should do though for something like this to work is make a different kind of endgame dungeon for those of us who don’t even like m+.
Take dungeons and then take that scaling tier system from delves and add them together to give us scaling difficulty dungeons at endgame without lame timers or keys with annoying affixes etc…
that’s where i actually DO agree with the OP…m0 should be queuable. Its only keys that make me feel like they should be in the LFG tool.
As a warrior, I dont even really feel the nerfs now that I’ve geared…
I don’t disagree with this, but it needs to come with the understanding that groups will probably fail to clear it. If Blizzard does this they should add a warning you have to go through to queue (this is kind of challenging, you will die if you try to ignore every mechanic) and then not use random groups as a basis to nerf the content.
why would any tank or healers queue
10-15 people not able to play with each other in their own keys?
they’d just be back complaining after their 1 hour queue ended 10 min in
I think it makes sense for baseline (M0) Mythics to be queueable.
I agree, but with the caveat that there aren’t nerfs to that content based on random queue. If people get farmed because mechanics start being actually threatening it just means that they aren’t ready to be there, not that the dungeon is too hard.
Why don’t you and those 10-15 others play together?
sorry lmao you caught a stray for sure in this
Almost like my arguments from the start of the season were right the entire time. Remember when I was saying that it only feels that way because of the relative difference in ilvl? We started at ~605 with a season cap of 639 which is 34 ilvls when the typical season to season is 26.
M+ is already completely accessible to everyone.
Having success in M+ is another story though. And queueable M+ will not give you success.
So what are you going to do when you get a group with no lust? You going to keep kicking people until you get it? What happens when your group forms and your group is an absolute lemon? What happens when someone doesn’t want to wait 10 minutes between pulls so lust is up every pull? What happens when there is no CC and you lack the skills to deal with an affix because the queue finder gave you 3 shadow priests? You will spend 99% of the play time with the queues mythic + system with the deserter debuff on. Kicking will be rampant, fighting through the roof, people leaving and taking the deserter because it will take less time than finishing it. It would be an absolute disaster.
Should only let you queue for what level key you have and lower then. If you unlock keys by clearing once then people will just buy a 10 at the beginning of the season and be set.
It is insane how a 2800 io … literally a 40% percentile player says " you don’t understand what you are talking about " to one of the first people who got the 2500 achieve in NA. Imagine being stuck at +12s at the end of the Season when we were clearing them on Week 2 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL.
Kind of insane that no matter how many times it’s been explained why an M+ queue system would not work, we still have (the SAME) players asking for it.
