That’s because you don’t understand the sides of the game. lets look at it shall we.
The Problem: Hardcore players are leaving dungeons after 1 boss.
Solution. 30 min que timers for these people
Side1 : Complainers(Casuals): These people are the complainers, who have a downside. The downside is the hardcore players stop queing for heroic dungeons and it becomes 40 min ques, but the soltuion they wanted is implemented. Big downside for casuals who never see real content.
Side 2: Leavers: Once the soltuon is implemented, they go on premade and make premade groups instead. Slightly more work but barely, still get thier trinketsm and when M0 comes out in 2 week, they never see herioc again and never have to worry about the extra debuff. No downside.
COnclusion: Causals complaining only hurts them on this topic.
And if that gets bad enough, they might just do something else to combat it. But if people are going to sink that much time into it, I doubt they’ll as rampantly drop after boss 2 instead of just finishing the whole thing.
in a week heroic dungeon ques will be much much longer, Most guilds and Tryhard sweatlords already have their items and When Mythic 0s Open, (especially with 1 day lockouts now) heroic ques will die leaving casuals in the dust.
Agreed but it’s a double edged sword. How long should it be? An hour? 4 Hours? A day? It need to be strong enough to deter the behavior but not so long that it makes people quit playing altogether.
This is mostly a non issue on queueable content that gets refilled in less than a minute. If Blizzard wanted to fix it, they should have just moved all of the rewards to the final boss lol.
