If you think that punishment will do anything you are fooling yourself.
You should probably stop making assumptions. It makes you look really foolish when you are wrong.

How about a 1 day ban from playing altogether? Go play something that doesn’t require you to be mindful of others time instead of WoW. You don’t belong here.
The reason why leavers are super high right now, is becasue they are getting in thier loot before the hotfix, so its gotten worst
ROFL you are never going to ban people because they refused to stay in a qued group with you rofl
No. That wouldn’t be fair to those who get disconnected for reasons other than actually leaving. I’m not sure the system could tell the difference.
Yes, but a half hour ‘punishment’ isn’t much for someone who only cares about doing one boss which is the issue. They’ll queue for one, get the item/not get the item, leave, wait a half hour and farm/do something else, then queue again and rinse repeat. Not to mention if it’s only on one character there’s no incentive not to just let that character have a lock out and jump to another one and level/do whatever.
At least 1 day of forced beta testing of future blizzard games with at least 10 bug reports.
I don’t think that you understand what punishment is. 30 minutes isn’t truly punishment. It’s not even a slap on the wrist. You should lose a significant portion of your playing time for screwing with other people and treating them like they’re your personal NPCs.
there’s far more leavers than dc’s. While yes it’s unfortunate for those who get dc’d, it’s about making adjustments for the many and not the few.
You can’t lump together LFR and dungeons, it’s completely different content. And you haven’t done enough heroic dungeons to have a significant sample size.
ALSO, my point was that this is rarely a problem outside of literally this week in this expansion because of unique circumstances.
It would be better to consider those circumstances than make some kneejerk “ban people who leave my groups wahhh” change
The leaver situation will be done as soon as M0 and M+ release.
the actual solution to this problem was so obvious.
just put the drop on the last boss. bam. fixed.
why blizzard can’t do that I don’t know, but this fix that isn’t a fix won’t solve anything.
Ohhhh I know! I KNOW WHAT TO DO! At least 1/2 loots removed from your next Mythic raid or M+.
BAM!
I just solved the problem.
Oh, it won’t fix it entirely, but it will dissuade some from doing it. Time will tell how effective this measure is.
I got the sacblood the other day and the second I looted it the trade window opened and 5k put in LOL. I just kindly let him know it was an upgrade for me. Idk why people are going gaga for this trinket, it’s good, but I’ve seen better ones in the past.
Should ask for 100k and deal
I agree that’s a better fix, but I don’t think it was obvious before the launch that this would be a problem and blizzard is usually hesitant to make major changes based on isolated events.
But I don’t see a downside to putting loot for queued dungeons at the end. But groups of friends who want to farm a first boss should be able to imo.
I have paid money for gear before.
I dont think you understand that people leaving qued 5 mans isnt a big deal.
Pro tip. If its not an issue in mplus then its def not an issue in qued content where people get backfilled.
Its not supposed to be.
rofl heroic 5 mans are not anywhere close to that serious. Just because they are a big deal to you doesnt mean they actually are.
The reason they won’t do this is because this isn’t M+ and the issue will be resolved when the tryhard crowd moves to raiding and M0 in a week.
