I disagree completely on both ends as I’ve already ran over 50 heroics so far this expansion and I’m seeing leavers at least every 3 dungeons. It’s frustrating, and yes I can lump LFR in as it’s the same exact problem, people leaving and ruining the run for the next person coming in.
Also no, it’s a problem every content drop with something desired off the first boss as paladins/warriors were still doing this in Dawn of the Infinite up till the end of the expansion with Tyr.
They actually can if they notice a pattern. If you are leaving instanced content regularly, they will take action against your account. This became a thing somewhat recently.
I feel like he was probably not sitting on a lot of gold if he only offered 5k. If it was 100k I may have considered it. Probably more like 2 or 3k, because it doesn’t seem like a great drop rate even though wowhead I think has it decently high, at 40%
Some are for certain people. It depends on the sim honestly. The Sac (which luckily I obtained in one of my runs) can be upgraded much higher than the DM trinkets and is far better single target damage than they are.
So you’re fine with inconveniencing others if it means you’ll never see them again/how your actions affect the next person taking your place in the queue? Weird flex.
I think in 10 days none of this will matter cause you all will be on to other things. I seriously doubt one little trinket is going to boost someones dps so much that it is going mean the difference between a raid clear and not.
I mean we’re talking M0 and normal and heroic raiding here. It’s not gonna be rocket science for most people just casual progression.
I therefore conclude Blizzard has made the right call and should enact it immediately for at least the next 10 days.
Everyone does. Unless you are a perfect player, with no rotational issues, you probably inconveince someone with your low gear, not understanding boss mechanics, poor rotational play, etc…
