Make Karma

great again, unerf the damage redirection. thx

Karma stops 80% of the monks health in damage and redirects 70% of that incoming damage. This is 56% max health redirection, compared to all damage with a 50% cap for a total of 50%. Karma is the best its ever been* lol

* mop doesn’t count

Karma’s fine right now and feels like an actual defensive.

it’s nerfed in pvp. but thanks for the dissection

It’s buffed in pvp, but thanks for your insight.

no it’s not, prove it

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Now absorbs 80% of the Monk’s max health (was 50%) and reflects 70% of damage done (was 105%) in PvP combat.

  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-02-27): Now redirects 105% of absorbed damage in PvP Combat (was 70%).

It was and that’s what I’m referring too, this guy post the most recent change and thinks he’s won something. Hilarious lol

Karma at points in the game used to be both an offensive and defensive tool, the redirection damage is lack luster now.

He did tho.

I mean, he is right somewhat.

Used to be 100% of your HP.

Used to be 100% of your HP.

Unsure if I’d label that the best its ever been but I think thats up to the player’s opinon.

Source (changelog, can check original patch):

Idr if there was a modifier applied to it in patch 5.0.1?

Patch 5.0.1:
All damage you take is redirected to the enemy target instead for 6s. Damage cannot exceed your total health

I cringe away from you

Of literally all the people to argue with about pvp modifiers :dracthyr_nervous_animated:

You fool, you fell victim to one of the classic blunders! I had already edited my post when that other meany came along and you did not read the fine print!

I’m embarrassed not to know this but that might’ve been true in wod and or legion as well. The first xpac I remember people treating karma like an atonement pws is bfa

The fine print bit is really funny though
