Make Guards useful again

What are guards used for anymore? I haven’t seen a guard kill anyone unless they are fresh 120s. Those are not who is killing low level players most of the time. Those are mostly geared 120s.

Please buff guards so that atleast when a lowbie gets ganked the hostile player feels the bite of doing so in another factions territory.

i agree with this greenish make guards 2 shot people or something just like in classic lol. Waiting on classic anyways. Bfa is so boring.

Give the guards a 50 yard range tranq gun that knocks you out cold for an hour. Cant be removed by anything except death.

Guards should chase far enough to fight other guards at the town you ran to because it lets all the newer players know that pvp is a thing. They can follow the trail of guards like how we found out about south shore. I remember feeling scared even going close to south shore for years!

Just NO Lights Hope Chapel guards and NO Isle of Quel Danas guards!! Those knock back and net guards that run at light speed RUINED world pvp when the naxx patch came out. For the first time in WoW there were guards that made a cool ganking area into a “No PvP Please” space. Bring back tarren mill death guards with same nearly infinite agro kiting range. That kind of guards!

For you its probably easier bubble and run no nets, i take 5 minutes to get out just because of the nets.

I’m kinda in the fence. On one hand if I’m in an organized group U want to be able to invade an opposing city. On the other hand it makes sense that guards should have more bite.

What I always hated was when some j@ckass from the other faction somehow got you into combat by some means like proximity just to watch you get jumped.

On their own I don’t think guards should dominate.

I like that even if some guy tries to run into the city from a fight we can still pick him off, instead of him being able to have absolute asylum once he enters the perimeter.

That’s what i’m saying. Is it a small 10x10 space where they will help you out in a fight?

Let’s not. There’s already 100 guards spawning if you attack a town, we don’t need them to get even stronger.

I think they should remove guards.

Lets make the streght and number of guard depend on the number of people in the zone.

So if a faction is outnumbered, stronger guard and more numerous guard will appear to defend the town. and make it scale depending if a faction is slightly outnumbered to just overwhelminly outnumbered. So that way a faction that try to camp the few remaining people of the other faction, might face some serious problem with the guards even in a raid trying to walk in and camp the opposing town.

But guards were never “useful” …

I never looked at a town I was about to raid with a small group of buddies and began to tremble at the sight of guards…

Have you tried fighting near their town north of Arom’s Stand in Drustvar?

The guards don’t hit all that hard, but if you’re there for 1-2 minutes they severely start to overwhelm you.

Those damn goblins poppin’ outta the ground!
