Hear me out. I have been raiding with a good team and I’m already really geared out. It’s just I’ve noticed that the things that people want don’t drop very often. For a limited time classic+ type experience I’d prefer to enjoy items while they’re relevant. I feel bored raiding every 3 days and never seeing the Pally relic drop, it’s just a gimmic item but drop rates should be increased for everything in season of discovery in my opinion. Not increasing drop rates just opens the door for botting to thrive. I’m burnt out already and have decided to take a break, I just hope drop rates are better for fun items going forward with phase 2.
You must be new to Classic raiding. I have played more times than I can remember, vanilla, several pservers, Classic, SoM and now this. I can’t even remember the number of times I never got an item I needed while raiding.
In this case, it’s not a matter of increasing drop rates, drop rates for most items are largely the same. The problem is the size of the loot pool. What you are actually asking for is an increase in the number of drops. We are already getting 14+ items in a 10 man raid. That’s pretty good by raid standards.
I have three characters that are in full BiS except weapon and maybe one other item. But I have an adequate weapon for leveling to phase 2. The epic weapons are rare, but I think that’s the intent. The blue items aren’t that hard to get and you don’t have to get everything.
I mean its RNG, there are some blue items ive seen 15 times, and some ive seen zero times
increasing all the drops rates wouldn’t help you at all in this. You’d just see more totems and librams etc. Unless you’re asking blizz to increase the drop rates of whatever item you and your guild needs specifically
That’s just the way classic loot is. There is likely going to be an item you almost never see. It’s the way it is, but you’ll get upgrades for almost every gear slot.

Imagine they invite/ advertise ppl to play the game by saying there is epics in bfd. And ppl still don’t even see them drop at the end of the phase…. It’s like in a zoo they said they have panda, and you going there twice a week, but everytime you are told the panda is sleeping in its room, how many more weeks you will keep going to zoo until you give up?
Here’s the problem. 1. This isn’t ERA. This is a seasonal, relatively short game mode meant to be fun and new. We don’t have to live by slow classic standards/designs. Not only that, this is phased by level bracket, not by raid at 60 like ERA was. Items from previous phases are more than likely going to be completely useless because of the power scaling due to runes and the raid gear, so why not be able to enjoy them when they are current?
Also, just want to add, there’s loot rarity, and then there’s downright disrespectful loot tables that are poorly designed (most likely due to a rushed launch). Only 5 items or so out of a full clear are actually useful.
Dumb analogy. The epics aren’t the selling point of the new raid. They also have a vastly higher drop rate than the epics in higher level dungeons. Compare them to items like Ironfoe or Headmasters Charge.
We need to get you a waambulance. This is still Classic. Go play retail if you need to feel like a special butterfly.
Unless we see a massive overhaul of the 25-40 dungeon loot tables, BFD gear will remain bis for most until gnomer. The mail from SM and plate gear for war/pal tanks is about the only thing that is going to be replaced between now and then.
People will continue to run BFD well in to P2. It will be better though since we will be doing it with no more than 5 people.

Lol, no they don’t. There are only 3 epics, some classes/specs can’t even use them. The selling point of P1 was runes and a new raid. Stop making dumb senseless claims.
getting 12 items that either get de or vendored and 2 items that are “okay” but not what 10 people came in the instance for. increase the number of drops to 4 per boss and up the % for items to be in the double digits instead of 2% - 8% then separate the boss loot into sections 1-4 You have a chance of getting 1 item from each section, surely not a single soul wants 4 shoulders(beast atp) dropping off of 1 boss right?
This isn’t Classic, its SOD. I agree it should be easier to get loot, maybe target farm via a badge vendor
This is just what happens when everyone gets to the point that they only need a few items. Asking for 4 drops per boss is just ridiculous. People started complaining about having nothing to do weeks after release, and you want to double the speed at which we can get geared? We still have 3 weeks before P2, and BFD is likely to remain relevant for pre gnomer bis. Your loot drops will effectively be doubled next phase since we will be running it with no more than 5 players.
One need only look at their login screen to see how very wrong you are. This is Classic: Season of Discovery.

No, absolutely nobody was looking at SoD and thinking “hmm, I’m not sure if I want to play it, I’ll wait to see the loot tables of the first phase and see if there is an epic item that I absolutely must have”.
Raid, not dungeon. And this game might not be for you. Running dungeons and raids multiple times is a big part of what the game is. Take it away and you end up with posts 2 weeks in complaining about having nothing to do.
