Make drop rates higher for loot in SOD

They need an extra piece of loot to drop from each boss.

That would help.

Well getting rune is just part of sod. I have to say wow leveling exp is a lot more fun than raid. But ultimately we are looking raid loot and maxing out our char. …and that is also where most players afk. Because it’s too bad drop rate

I assure you vanilla players aren’t quitting because of this, this is the kind of gameplay we want. Now it’s possible the instant gratification seeking retail players won’t like it, but at the end of the day this is still a classic server. Not getting a really rare item is part of the game. If everyone got it…it wouldn’t be rare.

lol wut, theres absolutely nothing to do 3 weeks after release. wdym? i got all my runes for week 1 on my main, fully bis on week 3. Most of this gear gets replaced by lvl 32.
the only things that dont get replaced is caster staff and hunter bow, and trinkets. Even then, its not even remotely worth the chase with the gear coming out of gnomer.

The 2hand weapon gets replaced at lvl 30 for warriors, and 36 for most melee classes. Im 100% sure no one on the forums has opened up atlas loot and just did a quick gear check in future 5mans.

Once everyone hits 35, no one is going back to BFD.

Oooh, don’t look at caster gear then. I’d recommend being nice to them because your gonna need them too heal your dungeons…dungeons that drop absolutely nothing for them.

Theres ALOT of caster gear that drops in instances… at some point you drop your spell power for intel to make up for the mana cost of spells.

Nope, not a single item on my pre gnomer bis list comes from a dungeon. It’s either BFD, PvP, crafted, or boe.

I actually 100% agree with this, BoE drop rates were increased in SOM and it was one of the few things I agreed with, so many BoE items are valuable and it would be cool to see them more often in seasonal content since the timespan is shorter. Teebus being rare but not a fumkin unicorn item for example would add some fun flavor, also it would deflate some of the prices, right now gold buying seems highly incentivized when some p1 bis items are .01% zone drops. This is going to get even worse in p2 and p3 where some likely hard bis items will be world or zone drops with equally bad rates.

Terrible drop rates are fine, geared players chasing the 1 item is good for the server. Thing is lockouts for 10 mans… and its a short season is terrible design. Did a real panel decide on this or just a bunch of scared YES men?

This is such a brain dead take. Why make a really cool item if it’s not obtainable realistically. If I pay for a game and play without fail 100% of lockouts. I should be able to obtain the items I want by the end of a phase.

Yeah, MMOs might not be for you.

I think an extra 0.5-1 item per boss would help. It’s kinda nuts to go every lockout on two chars and still not see a wep drop.

This is why pvp gearing is so necessary. There needs to be some agency in the gearing process.

Keep the best of the best gear in raids, fine, but provide solid, competitive sets and weapons from pvp

Xbow finally dropped while I am on my cat and there was no hunter in the group. Good job devs, your game design is super disappointing and disencouraging. You can count me as -1 on player base. And I will love to join gdkp and once alterntive servers got support for steamdeck I will be afk for good.

If You can clear the content x times in x weeks you deserve the item, thats all.
