I’m sure the creators of the game have already decided on this seeing as this content type is very very old…
This is why I don’t play on pvp servers. The majority of pvp is griefing.
I wanted to gank this gnome off of a mining node, …but I figured I better check with Phenatick on the rules of engagement here.

I get it, but as the player being camped you have options.
You can call for help. If you do not have a guild, you can ask in global for help. Someone suggested layering which i never even thought about.
You can log off and jump on that alt you have been meaning to start. You can log off and go have a smoke, a snack, or fap.
I believe because of these reasons, blizz has always kept a hands off approach to these issues.
As many times as a person may say, nah im down with world pvp, BUT have issue with being ganked and camped, actully clearly states to the savages like myself, that you are not cut out for this type of game play.

Oh man i cant wait till p2 comes out, i and my 4 buddys, 2druids and 2 rogues are going to br just ganking everyone at SM meeting stone. Going to be so much fun, oh and best part is if the alliance come in numbers we just unflag.

Why punish someone for taking advantage of a situation? The better question is why put yourself in that spot by not bringing friends?
On a world pvp server the rules are clear. Not only that but why would i care about being honorable to someone i hate?

Just get better. There are ways to counter this and win.
Should just change the server tag to player vs griefer to clear up any confusion about what you’re choosing. My first character was on lone wolf pvp server, I got to level 25 and then went to Ratchet to start gathering more runes before realizing the mistake I made.
I thought for sure the Ashenvale event would quench my PvP thirst on a PvE server. So I leveled a rogue to 25 and went to Ashenvale… lol… I was wrong.
Should have roled pve server. Your problem

If you’re on a PvP server and can’t handle PvP, you should be kicked off said PvP server.

This sort of antisocial behavior isn’t that common, but the few people who do it are very outspoken about their passion for being childish. They’re the equivalent of an obnoxious little kid holding his finger an inch from your face saying “I’m not touching you.” They’re easily dismissed and ridiculed. See further upthread where one of them had a melt down over having his personality accurately critiqued and categorized.
They will be the same ones crying about how PvP servers always end up 100% Horde or 100% alliance and not understanding that their toxic behavior made it happen. Take solace in knowing their existence is more miserable than they can ever make anyone else’s and their behavior comes from a place of deep emotional pain from a life poorly lived.
