I was typing up a big ol’ horde-biased whiny post when I realized I just don’t feel like posting something like that right now (trust me, the whine levels were out there, even for me), so to summarize:
Like I originally wrote in my first post of this thread, I doubt An’she as a concept would ever have the same level of acceptance among the playerbase that Elune does, simply because the tauren’s spiritual importance has gone through a decade and a half of neglect compared to the night elves’ all-consuming narrative importance on a historical and now-cosmological scale. I think the disparaging comparisons of “well if you want fairness, I hope An’she is just as neglectful of his children like Elune was in BFA” is pointless because narratively that has already happened. It’s just been accepted as the norm at this point.
I also don’t think anything would ever come from this thread because I don’t think this is a feedback forum. It just seems like a fun little “what-if” project to expand on a core horde race that really has nothing special to call its own, despite being introduced to the setting at the same time the night elves were.
Let people have fun with their hypothetical Sun God concept.
