Make An'she/Belore A Thing

…how is that even relevant?

While Jaina returned, the Horde did not stand still, but had their quests and dialogs as well.

look above.

Here I would argue that the effort and resources have clearly been used more for the Alliance, at least as far as Cinemas are concerned.

most of them are about horde and saurfang, you know

Irrelevant but okay I guess?

Ok? Jaina was still specifically framed as this “Chosen Leader” of the Alliance whose return symbolized a major turning point in the war.

She’s literally an over-powered raid final boss.

You, as well.

So again:

There isn’t any actual evidence of this. We don’t know WHY the Tauren call her Mu’sha or WHY the Lun’alai call themselves such. These are words that have meaning to them specifically and would have their own reasons for using them.

Doesn’t make any group “right” or “wrong.” Only that words get passed down through culture differently.

Shoot, for all we know, Night Elves could be “wrong” in using a word that ISN’T a part of their own language while every other Culture use the name given to them.

Hell, for all we know, Elune is a Fyzandi word and Night Elves learned this word somehow through learning about the Night Warrior Ritual.

the name elune…comes from elune, elune talked with them through the woe

Obviously wasn’t the case, as we know she routinely made contact with the Fyzandi. The Well of Eternity contains AZEROTHS blood, which isn’t even related to elune, far as we know. That’s just a NE myth.

what you mean? she can made contact with the night elfs and fyzandi, thats not an exclussion from each other

And the night elves’ arrogance (sorry not sorry) does need to be remembered as a factor here—they literally came across a pool of Titan blood, and immediately came to the conclusion that Elune slept there because…well, they’re “special,” they’re the “Chosen Ones.” :tm:

We even see this more recently when Velen suggested that Elune was similar in nature to a Naaru, and Tyrande asks him to keep it quiet, calling it an “outlandish claim” (read: non-Night Elf-exceptionalist).

Remember to extend this to all elves. For everyone.

The Fyzandi don’t or didn’t have a Well of Eternity containing a titans blood and arrogantly thought a god slept in there. Which was the other half of the quote you cut out

it really sucks when characters take their religion seriously, right?

There’s no evidence of that.

In fact, there’s very little lore relating to Elune directly communicating with the Night Elves. There’s a few mentions of it but it wasn’t a regular thing, outside of a Crystal that the Priestesses once possessed.

fair, but the night elves at least thought to communicate with her through the well, even if they apparently did not.

even the TITANS have recorded in their POV that Elune communicated with the night elves. Even the Titans wrote down that elune taught them the language of the titans.

Didn’t anyone whisper to them from the Well? N’Zoth?

The Titans have records of Night Elf Myths and what they believed.

I don’t think the Titans would of believed it themselves, seeing as they would know (what we know now) that Elune did not reside in the Well.

You’re all just getting hung up on the “sleeping in the well”, it’s more about the fact that they communicated. The Titans have also noticed this from their POV.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but yes: it does suck when a culture takes its religion seriously to the point of believing it’s superior to everyone else.

/sarcastic: Not that we’ve ever seen that happen IRL before…

Tyrande only asked not to say such things here in these places, it was after all in the middle of the temple of Elune and her center of faith. What does this have to do with “standing above everything”.

and the night elves certainly don’t believe because they believe in Elune that they are superior to anyone else.

Besides: Btw. we know in the meantime that Veleen was wrong. she´s no naaru.
