Make 5% damage buff boonable

we would need a poll to really know the answer to this, we would just be speculating otherwise.

Sure fine, their intention was misplaced, but that’s hardly new.

Nevertheless I stick to my point that not having all world buffs for all raids. Would be a positive change.

I think getting rid of world buffs in raids like in SoM is a greater idea.

You’re not gonna believe this, but they actually implemented an item to do exactly that that unfortunately doesnt encompass this specific mcdonalds meal

And here you are crying about it.

It’s a bloody 5% damage buff. It’s a level 25 dungeon. Why do you people take it so seriously???

It’s just hilarious at this point. It would be like taking an egg and spoon race seriously.

Why does it always result back to insulting the way people play the game and not a real answer to the question? Is it because you can’t relate to the issue personally?

I don’t think any normal, logical person would care about something so insignificant.

Another insult :frowning: people just want to boon a buff so they can play the game.

As if you cant play without some measly 5% damage buff in some ultra casual dungeon.

Good lord you guys need help.

You absolutely can! But for the sake of someone wanting to play the game the way they want this would be a nice quality of life improvement.

They created the boon because people were raid logging because raiding with world buffs is more fun.

The boon already exists, it not working on 1/3 of the raid buffs is just bad design.

Or they could just get rid of world buffs entirely because they’re stupid.

Thank you for a reasonable opinion that doesn’t insult people! This would definitely upset some people but it would be great not to have to worry about them anymore as well.

Why do people enchant their gear then? Surely that’s less of a gain than 5% damage.

Stop being weird because people have fun playing the game different than you.

I’m sure someone said this but… The boon is something that happens. Sure you can be the one that turns in the shard or it’s just random at some point you are in the area so you store it.

The 5% from Ashenvale weekly is a scroll that you choose when to use. So it is in fact already “stored” until you decide to use it.

No, people don’t have fun doing that.

They do it because they feel obligated in order to find groups/guilds.

I guarantee if they got rid of logs and people stopped taking an ultra casual game so seriously, then most people wouldn’t even bother getting buffs or consumables.

Yeah nobody used enchanting, herbalism, or alchemy professions in classic or tbc, only when people started logging in WOTLK did someone learn those professions for the very first time.

People used them but they weren’t enforced by weirdos like they are now. Context is key here.

You can clear the dungeon in green gear and people take it seriously like it’s a brand new mythic raid that nobody has done before.

These people have ruined gaming. You take an ultra casual experience so seriously that you are crying about a 5% damage buff not being used in 1 of your casual raids per week.

Like jesus LOL. Gain some perspective.

Yeah, no. Enchanting and alchemy were absolutely in use in og vanilla.

yeah, obviously you don’t need them but you don’t need the best weapon off the last boss either, yet people get super passionate about those, why? because its fun to do more damage. some people like to try and complete raids the fastest or do the most DPS. You don’t get to declare what is fun and what isn’t.

They already created the boon, it wasn’t in vanilla and apparently it was a big enough problem that they actually added created a new item to try and fix this problem so pretending like nobody cares or why bother because apparently enough people care for Blizzard to try and do something about it.
