Majority will pick venthyr

then 1 month into shadowlands… BAM the teleport will get treated like a lock gate… and it’ll aggro mobs it goes though

Well, really I think that the majority will slavishly pick whichever one icy-veins or the meta tells them to pick.

Putting that aside though, yeah I’d bet that Venthyr and Necrolords will be the most popular overall, especially Horde side.

The nerf bat is standing by.

It’s due to how the Teleport ability is designed.
If it were up to me, instead of lowering the range, I would have the ability requires a friendly or hostile target.

my guess is kyrian will be the most popular because they’re vanilla fantasy, and vanilla is the most popular flavor.

I don’t want any changes made to the teleport.

I’ll pick my covenant on a per-character basis, and… honestly, more for aesthetics than function, not to step into that angry snake pit of an argument.

… yes, obviously the Blood Elf Death Knight will go Venthyr.

Well theres a reason people always picked vampire in SKyrim

My mains are Shaman (yes I have 2.) After that my Pally.

So Bastion is for me. lol Plus I love the aesthetic and the light. Just feels right.

Though my Druid will probably go to Ardenweld.

Mages probably will go to Bastion and Rogue…I’m not sure. I don’t like dark/sinister areas. Though Assassination Rogue doesn’t quite seem to fit in Bastion. lol

Probably Venthyr, but then again… Ah, decisions, decisions… :sunglasses:

So far 4 are on looks alone that leaves a bunch more for the other places one of each for each armor set

I want to go Night Fae but the Night Fae ability is hot garbage for mages.

A six second CHANNEL on a 45 second CD? I don’t care what it does (it’s bad, btw) that sounds obnoxious as heck to use. Who wants to channel that much?

Really reaaaaally hoping Blizz redesigns that one.

But you’re a Frost DK.
Blood DKs go Venthyr, because Vampire

Pretty sure the night fae has the instant sprint.

I can play more than one spec.

Besides, it isn’t like there’s a “frost” covenant.

Maybe we should just be happy Blizzard didn’t go for the “oops, all Death Knight specs” trifecta when designing these things.

Huh? I’m talking about the mage class ability. Not the class neutral ability. lol

No, I really like the neutral ability. Turning into an animal spirit, getting a huge speed boost and some blinks? Sounds sick.

Channeling for a little more than 6 seconds out of every minute to very slightly reduce the cooldowns on my CDs, however, does not.

Woo I get to be the minority!

Don’t you go pact-shaming me.

If it stands how it is now, I will pick Necro for my druid and Night Fae for my hunter. Benefits of having stealth and a way to very easily drop aggro.

But given the hunter Night Fae ability will most certainly get a CD placed back on it I will almost certainly be changing to… who knows. They all have good hunter abilities and I do like the Kyrian transmog better than the rest.

Point is, I don’t need the teleport and I won’t be basing my choices around something that is almost certainly getting a nerf and screwing me over early in SL.

I’m probably going for the bastion one.
