Collector’s edition players start off with a quest item in their inventory which gives them the collectors edition pet.
This effectively means that these players have to decide between keeping the pet, or having one less bag space until they get to a major city. In a game where early bag space is already a rare commodity, forcing this conundrum on players when its supposed to be a reward seems really dumb.
I agree. Remove the CE pets. They were bought for a different game, which still exists, and you can use them in that game. Linking items between the two games sets a very dangerous precedent.
TBH you get to enjoy your CE pet in current retail, and were given a nice perk for being able to have it in classic. I’d be thankful for that and get over a couple minute side run to a bank. Or perhaps mail it to yourself?
The item used to summon the pet always took up a bag slot, in vanilla and now in Classic. I believe in vanilla though the gift parcel that started the quest was mailed to your character, so it didn’t automatically take up a bag slot when you started your toon. This is really a non-issue, however, as once you get out of the newb starter zone you can easily farm up 20 silver to buy 4 6 slot bags from the Inn.
We’ve gone over this already. Original CE owners get to have their pets in Classic, Blizzard already confirmed this, hell it’s even in the stress test. Get over it.
You’re literally so jealous that they have the collector’s edition that you would rather have the pets not be in the game at ALL vs. a handful of ppl per realm having the pets.
