MAJOR Issue with Wow Vanilla Collectors Edition

I swear … with some people, if Porche was selling their top end for $1 each, and someone gave someone else $2 so they could buy two of them, they’d complain that no one gave them $10 so they could buy 10 of them.

Classic doesn’t have a CE edition. You’re getting CE pets anyway. Take them and move on.

You’re comparing Apples, Oranges, and Tomatoes with one another.

Anyone who says this is a non issue doesn’t believe in min-maxing. The fact is that it shrinks the bag space you can use by one. Seeing as there are multiple must have items, Hearth stone, Food or drink, quest items, you end up taking 1/6-8 bag spaces you have for non essential things. This is a lot of the space for levels 1-10

It might not work that way in classic. It might be BoP from the start. If its BoE people could sell them. Unless they make it account bound which also wasn’t a classic thing.

Quit complaining and delete it. By the time you farm up all of your resistance gear, all non essential items will be vendored or deleted due to the constraints of bag space.

You mean Classic.

Turning in the quest item just gets you an item to summon one of the three CE pets, and all pet items took up a bag space in vanilla. You want multiple pets in Classic, you’re gonna need bigger bags.

It is a non-issue, because this is how it was in vanilla.

I started with my mini Diablo on day 1, taking up a spot in my backpack, and went on to collect more pets.

By endgame, I had dozens of pets and several mounts. Each one took up an inventory slot, in my bags or in the bank. And I played a warlock. And I min-maxed my gear, carrying multiple sets for +shadow, +fire, +resist, etc.

But I also had a full set of Onyxia Hide Bags. :smiling_imp:

Most people hit a capital by level 6 right? Also, in the starting zone (1-5) you’re literally never more than 30 seconds away from a vendor… How bad are you at managing inventory OP?

And if they’re actually expecting to have this problem, they must have bought the CE back in the day, and gone through this, so maybe their memory is going. :stuck_out_tongue:

#No changes !

Paraphrasing Quint – "So, eleven hundred items were there to be looted; 16 went in the bag, and the despawn took the rest, … "

Yea most players will think my collectors edition pet is worth one bag slot worth of 2c grey item. Its a pet you cannot get afterwords, you will make up that lost bag space and the rock you had to delete from your inventory rather than vendor.

I will have one less slot because Diablo Demands it of me.

as someone with the collector’s pet, I disagree, its not a major issue at all. You can get to the main city at level 1 if you want, or by level 5-10 if you just head there when you get near it, which most players do anyways.

You’ll live.

The real min maxxers are min maxxing by not buying the CE, this saves one bag space and real actual currency, but for the truest minmaxxers, they will never sully their account with non-combat pets.

So run to the bank or destroy it. Where’s the issue, exactly?

This is peak stupidity.

Lol, yes, dumbest thread I’ve read in a while. From a purely min-maxing standpoint having the CE pet will slow down your 1-60 levelling by like 0.000000001%. Literally the first time you enter a capital city you can just bank it.
