Just a heads up PSA - The realms will be down for an hour. It was posted last night on the WOW twitter.

World of Warcraft: The War Within 09/03/2024, 7:00AM 09/03/2024, 8:00AM Game unavailable during this time.

Yeah we should always keep an eye on the weekly maintenance site. Posting it on twitter is the same as not posting it at all. I’m not going to a malicious site to see when the game is down.

yes… wonder what happened to the usual notification – assuming there is a an unanticipated problem at Blizzard, since this doesn’t seem to be a regularly scheduled downtime…

Well it is 7AM Pacific on a Tuesday, so it is normal maintenance time. But how long will it last today?

It’s Tuesday, that’s the normal down time. I know one of the CS blues normally put up the notice about it. Can’t tell you what happened to it.

Perhaps so…but I would have thought that some of these regular maint. issues would have perhaps been addressed in the few “mini updates” we had over the weekend…

The time frames seem to be lining up, but maybe oversight on Blizzard part to post a message? Couldn’t be because they are leaving it open ended, its not posted on classic either.

THE 405 FWY traffic in socal is a nightmare so maybe someone got in just in time to pull the plug but not put out the formal messaging. haha

I didn’t see any information about weekly maintenance in the Launcher or on my Character Selection screen where we would usually see it.

What are we looking at today for the maintenance window?

Why is maintenance taking so much longer than it used to be? Back when I played before…it was only down 1 hour a week.
