Amazing work guys, glad we had all this testing time leading up to this. Thanks for giving us plenty of time to work on our draenei and blood elves.
Unlike a lot of the people commenting, I appreciate that it’s still being worked on. Yes, it sucks that it’s being delayed so much but Blizz team probably has enough on their plate without everyone jumping down their throats for something that could be out of their control. If you’re this upset over something you can’t do anything about, you need a life and some therapy
This is absolutely ridiculous. How am I supposed to get Naxx done on my blood elf at this rate? What you just want me to walk through the portal undergeared farming the ramparts at 2% less efficiency? How am I supposed to tell my kids I missed their big recital for maintenance??? SHAME BLIZZTURD SHAME
fu.off. so hard.
So, do we get like a 5% extra boost to XP gain now?
So, we’re getting an extra day on our game time right?
just fix the servers
ffs that’s unfortunate. I was really looking forward to getting some playtime in today. I can understand being pushed back by a few hours… I got upset, but I can deal with an additional pushback of 4 more hours… however I feel as if this company is spitting in the face of everyone who pays their hard earned money each month and expects the game to be playable when the original goal is set. How about some accountability Blizz? Piss poor
Patience is a virtue.
really great how you guys decided to only have prepatch last 2 weeks so you can push TBC out early to “compete” with other mmo’s, (who have also pushed their own release date back btw) and now rob us of more time to level belves and draenai. You realize how bad this looks for you right? Not only is this killing the time we need to level characters in prepatch, its also messing with people who had raids planned today, or took an entire day off just to wait for hours, and hours, and get dissapointed with a 3am the next day release. Not to mention, you added a level 58 boost to tbc, which makes this look even worse for you, as if you’re trying to limit how much people can level, so they are forced to buy a boost to bring a shaman or pally into tbc. If this is launching a day late, can we get another day of prepatch to make it up to people who are now screwed even more?
Some explanation would go a long way in the understanding department.
Quite frankly, you should probably just give your crew the go take a break and just extend the maintenance until 3 pm PDT the 19th. Hope you are all getting paid good overtime too.
wtf kidding?
This reads to me as if you guys fixed the mail issue and now found more issues. Sadge
I just wanna get on so I can get the tbc exclusive pack and clone my toons, is that too much to ask for?
Did Bobby not come in today or something?
I have to say, thank god the heads of blizzard is only in charge of a game. Imagine if they were in charge of public safety, infrastructure, health care, or something as simple as serving food at a fast food restaurant. They (blizzard as a whole) has always been known to push patches out to keep players from pausing subscriptions and this is evident with the majority of their patches.
Blizzard keeps spitting in our face and tells us its raining. Really it is going to be released at midnight… So really blizzard you are paying massive over time right now to fix it? If I had to guess, I am sure the majority of the techs are home sleeping right now, not because of their lack of dedication but more of the amount of overtime it will cause keeping people there to fix this issue. I am sure at midnight there will be a blue post saying that either 1) it will be down until 7am, or 2), which I hope, that they realized they are above their heads and hold the pre patch and TBC out a few weeks to fix this issue and just open up the servers again. Obviously blizzard “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!”.
ohh my zod hurry up
No one has ever said this, this is some kind fetish you Americants made up.
That’s like a couple thousand characters at best, this is every character ever created on classic, millions and millions of characters.
