At this point, Blizzard should just ban any Topics with the word “maintenance” in the Title or first post. It’s ridiculous after 20 years of Tuesday maintenance downtime that EVERY Tuesday there is at least one topic whining about it.

you know scinse i started playing all those long years ago in the first stress test maint has always will always be on tues , dunno what the reason for it is but it is, and just like then people will always complain about it
Not gonna lie, I almost sadistically can’t wait to read these threads—they’re, if nothing else, an enigma of entertainment. Equal parts chaos, comedy, and the occasional nugget of wisdom. 
you all know maintenance always lies never 6 hr or 8 it’s more or next yhr
I remember when Blackrock was an unstable server. It crashed a lot. They would make tons of gnomes on Argent Dawn as protest and muck up all the chat channels. I think Blackrock was pvp at the time and Argent Dawn is rp. It was a mess.

once again repeating my suggestion of alternating maintenance with EU servers with every expansion, so in Midnight EU servers get all-day tuesday extended maintenance and US servers get quick & easy lessons-learned 1 hour wednesday outages

I always thought learning to tell time in 2nd grade was just a conspiracy to make me believe recess was longer than it actually was—because somehow, it always felt way shorter than the rest of the school day. The truth is out there!
Tuesday is a good day to get some cleaning done around the house, catch up on some sleep, and give yourself a little self care. A nice coffee, make a big breakfast, and put your feet up if you don’t have work today.

OK, I don’t usually do this, but you’ve got a ton of readers here with a wide range of skills and expertise. How can we help you find another job? Most WoW players are pretty helpful—even outside the game. Only if you’re open to suggestions, of course! Please don’t share anything that could single out your real-life identity—just hoping to spark ideas for a more positive path than being stuck with Tuesdays off.
What I’ve never understood( and don’t need explaination) of why, just why players knowing this has been the way forever, why on earth choose to take Tuesdays off??
I highly doubt every single employer in the nation forces WoW players to only have Tuesdays off.
its there start of the week, being they dont do big stuff on mondays
as others have said, its been like it forever. only think you can do is cope with it
