Same here. This is getting super annoying. Whatever Blizzard is doing with their login servers they need to fix this.
I had the same issue. I suspect this has something to do with the release of the new Battle.net mobile application. The authenticator has transitioned from a stand-alone application to an integrated feature of the new app. After going in and enabling the new authenticator, and then logging in, I haven’t had any problems.
This is concerning as I also still use the old, physical version of the authenticator. Thank you for this info - going to keep my eyes on it since this issue is still ongoing.
wow, mine died just a few months ago, and I had to switch to the mobile one. I liked having a physical one, and I wish they’d bring them back.
Yeah having the exact same problem.
Checking back in to see if there is work around yet. I see people still having same problem.

Started happening to me today.
It’s also been happening to me. I haven’t had to manually enter my password in years I actually had to think about what it was. More of a nuisance than anything as it stays signed in until I turn my pc off for the day but I’m hoping they fix it soon.

It is happening to me as well WTF. I was playing wow and game froze up. Kicked me out of game and gave me that BS login session has ended. I am starting to get pissed off.
It’s happening to me multiple times a session now. Just now it happened while I was in the middle of flying. A window flashed something about a “Security Check” and then it dumped me out of Battle.net to the launcher with the following under a “Go Online” button:
“We couldn’t log you in to Battle.net. While you are offline, friends & chat will be unavailable, and you will have to log in when playing games or accessing account management”

This has happened to me at least four times today. It seemed to have started around Wed/Thu timeframe? Have also experienced game lockups that cause me to have to Alt-F4 and start over.
Getting back online requires password + authenticator every time. Have used my authenticator more in the past 3 days than I have in the last year.
Thank you very much for the update. Getting nervous, I have the old physical authenticator and I am not sure how much life it has left…this constant logging in has to be using it up. I check the “keep me logged in” in order to try to extend it’s life as much as I can. Please update us again as quickly as possible, thank you.
You may want to go ahead and switch to the Blizzard Authenticator. I’ve had the physical fob since the day they were released and mine finally died for good a few weeks ago. Tried to get it open to swap the battery but after some digging I learned that replacing the battery doesn’t even work since it loses sync with your account. Keep on trucking if you want but it’s a bit of a pain to swap if the fob actually dies before removing it from your account.

I have the same problem since Tuesday.
